if you are going to have an expo station(which is a good idea to add variety), make sure your workers know how to cook it!

Any review for 1920 Commons that wasn’t authored in 2013 isn’t current. The place had a $ 6 million renovation last year, and it’s pretty nice now.

It’s dorm food. I wouldn’t say it’s disgusting, but of course, it’s not gourmet either. I’ve only tried lunch and dinner here. I personally they serve you too much food, which leads to a lot of waste. Fruit is never good. It’s either unripe or bland. I had crepes here before, and it was pretty delicious. Pizza is alright. They have lots of variety. The drink machines are terrible. It always tastes like water. Service at times can be quite abrasive, but I’m starting to think this is a Philly thing.

I wouldn’t say puke, although I haven’t eaten the actual Commons food since I was last here for a Homecoming weekend. The breakfast is generally good, and the food types and variety tend to go downhill from there as the day goes on. It used to be a three-level facility of all the same food for the undergrads in the area, but it simply couldn’t compete with the local food carts for the food attention. We used to watch the Simpsons as we ate dinner and played foosball in the basement level. Now, there’s a study space down there, and the third floor is campus dining. Second floor has a coffee shop, a Subway, and a chicken place of some sort now. If you’re a visitor, a meal is about $ 10 or so. Buffet-style campus dining, of course, on the classic trays.
