This is one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. I ordered a chicken pesto crêpe. What I received was half a scoop of crumbled, processed, dried out chicken, 4 leaves of spinach, a bit of oil, and a few crumpled tomatoes. For $ 7.50, this is highway robbery. There was barely anything inside of the crêpe at all. After eating it, we had to go to Taco Bell next door to fill up on cheap burritos, which weren’t very good, but infinitely better than the abomination that is CrepeMaker. The funny thing was the people sitting at the table next to us did the same thing. This is a scam. They should be ashamed of themselves. Stay far away.

Is this what they called Crêpe? You’ve got to be kidding me. It has to be a joke.

I went here for lunch after reading some reviews, I have walked by this place many times and there is never anyone eating there. I figured who knows, maybe its still a secret. I had a similar experience as some others, stale crêpe, the bbq chicken was not particularly good, and was a pretty small amount of protein, I had to wait 5 minutes for the drink that I ordered. It is just not organized. Food is average at best. Maybe the deserts are great. its hard to have bad nutella.

The crepes here are great, and by far the best food option in 30th Street Station. I stumbled upon here as I was walking by, and I had no desire to go to a standard run of the mill chain such as Pizza Hut or McDonalds. The owner was very friendly. I asked for her recommendation. She pointed me to one of the specials, the Chicken Tikka crêpe. It was made to order with fresh ingredients, and came out quickly. The portion size was perfect; not too much, which is exactly what America needs, but I think you can order a bigger size if you feel you must have more food. Support local business and creativity!

I live nearby and decided to try out a new crêpe place with my wife at 6pm for dinner. It was not busy at all. My crêpe shell was pre-cooked. The cook had three shells waiting under a bowl. Sure, I tried to give the cook the benefit of the doubt, yes the three shells could have been made recently. Nevertheless, he threw the shells back on the round crêpe grill to heat them back up and cook the meat and cheese on top. My crêpe shell was dried out and it crumpled like potato chips as I tried to eat it. I ordered a barbeque chicken crêpe. I’m not sure the chicken was good quality — it seemed processed to me. Don’t get me wrong, the crêpe was okay, but I would never eat here again. I even thought the crêpe was a little small for the price. There are far superior choices nearby.

I tried this place a few months ago and thought it was okay… but after the lunch i had the other day, i’ld recommend packing a lunch, or grabbing a sandwich at Subway over going here if you think you might be looking for a quick bite to eat while at 30th street station… this place is just not worth it… I ordered the Mozzerella-tomato-basil crêpe… the first mistake they made was that the crêpe wasn’t fresh… i saw him take it out of the fridge… and put it on the crêpe maker, probably should have left then! Seriously, who does this? it’s not like the place was busy… in fact there was only one other customer there at the time… but :(sadly I made the mistake of sticking around… anyhow the crêpe was dry, bland and totally tasteless and to make up for it the mozzerella and tomato were way over salted inside… also what kind of crêpe place doesn’t have swiss cheese… in conclusion… seriously don’t bother… if you really want a crêpe… like the ones they make in France(I have some experience I lived there for 6 months) try the crêpe stand in Reading Terminal Market… or for more ‘classy’ experience Beau Monde!

Seriously, this place is tremendous. I’ve eaten here a handful of times, and I think it’s a fantastic value. They have a large selection of sweet and savory crepes, and they’re all hand made right in front of you. The prepper does a great job, and you can tell he knows what he’s doing. My crepes were slightly crispy(which I actually like, especially for the dessert crepes) and pretty chock full of ingredients. For $ 7 I think that’s a great deal. Especially as compared to places like Beau Monde, which charge you much more and give you a whole lot less toppings. I’ve seriously considered coming out to 30th st Station on the weekends just to get some affordable crêpe action, but so far have only gone when I actually did need to catch a train. Also, packing the corner of the crêpe into a cup so you can manage it a little better is a great idea.

What an interesting find! I was walking through the station, not even necessarily looking to pick up food for my train ride to NYC. But when I saw a new concept, hand-held crepes, I had to give it a try! I got the combo of a small savory crêpe and a small dessert crêpe — tomato-basil-mozzarella for savory and strawberry-nutella for dessert. They were packed in a cone and were very convenient to eat on the train. It was a lot of food though! I did like the dessert crêpe more than the savory crêpe, but both were pretty good!

Really outstanding. I just ask the guy to make whatever he feels inspired to make or recommends. Today it was Steak Milanese. For the price I really think there’s not a better fast food joint., I echo Samantha’s observation

Recently, I’ve been a frequent traveler through Philly’s 30th Street(train) Station, and am happy to have this option when grabbing a bite. Getting a crêpe here may take a few minutes longer than eating at McDonald’s or Cosi, but for food court food, it’s a nice change of pace at a decent price($ 5 – 8 typically). For me, the savory crepes have stood out, while the«black and red»(Nutella and strawberry) sweet crêpe was only ok. I like the chicken pesto crêpe, and from my most recent visit, the«CrepeMaker 123» breakfast crêpe with chicken and mozzarella.

It was OK but not great. I had a dessert crêpe with fresh bananas(about 2 awhole bananas — fresh and great. But the crêpe itself was kinda tasteless. I think they cut their losses with neither a sweet batter nor a savory batter so that they can use the same batch of batter for both sweet and savory crepes. Profi’s at RTM was better — but also cost more. I may return. Not sure. I should also mention that the ONE person they had running the stand was very, very nice, professional, friendly and helpful. And he made the crêpe effortlessly. I just wish they’d improve the batter recipe.

I feel like this shouldn’t be as good as it is considering it’s basically a mall chain, but it’s great! Both the sweet and savory crepes I’ve had there are delicious. They also have a great variety of hot and cold coffee drinks. Also, any place with both meals AND beverages that contain Nutella gets high marks from me. I tried the«Queen of Hearts»(named for its artichokes) the first time and I fell in love. Had the honey-mustard chicken again and it was also very tasty. Definitely worth eating at if you’re getting a train or if you’re just in the area and need a bite.

After many months of anticipation, my regular lunch-gang was pleased to see this new addition in the 30th Street Train Station Food Court. We thought it would be nice to have something a little different that the standards(Subway, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Cosi, Au Bön Pain, KFC, etc.). I tried the ‘True Blue’ entrée crêpe, a savory mix of chicken breast, blue cheese crumbles, walnuts, tomato, baby spinach and honey mustard dressing, all contained in a cone-like crêpe. Not too bad. I do have a few misgivings, though: 1. The box that my dine-in crêpe was served in is enormous. Like a box you might get at Macy’s when you want to gift-wrap a shirt or something. Has the Crepemaker not heard of environmentalism? I feel really bad about the poor trees being killed to transport my crêpe 30 steps away to a table. 2. There was not a whole lot of chicken in my crêpe. I watched the prepper make the crêpe, and I saw the pre-measured amount of chicken pieces added… it was maybe two ounces total, if that. For a crêpe costing $ 7.25, maybe a bit more chicken would be nice. 3. My crêpe was a little on the crispy side. It was cooked about 30 seconds too long. I split a dessert crêpe with two other people, and other than the fact that my friend Bob was being a little bitch about having to go stand in line and order the crêpe, it was okay. We got the«Triple Treat»(I wanted him to order the Nutty Caramel Apple, but like I said, he’s a little bitch) and it was kind of boring. It had bananas, nutella and strawberries, but was missing the advertised whipped cream. I’ll probably give the CrepeMaker another shot, but I might wait a little bit to give them time to work out their kinks from being the new place in the Train Station.
