Daniel Mele, D.M.D

I’m a big fan of Dr. Mele’s office. I’ve only been there twice for cleanings but I feel very comfortable. I really enjoy talking to Cheryl while I’m getting my teeth cleaned. There’s no condescension or whip cracking. She tells me where I need to do a better job and sends me on my way. Dr. Mele is friendly and efficient with our time («If I’m here and you’re here, doesn’t that make it OUR time?»). I’ve never had to wait and they provide friendly phone call reminders about appointments. And the calls are from LIVE people, not a machine. If you time your appointment right, you can go to McNally’s for a Schmitter right afterward.

Dr. Mele has been our dentist since he treat my 5-​year-​old daughter with a toothache. He called to check on her which was a big surprise. She now has a 12-​year-​old daughter. So, he has seen her through boys, braces and childrbirth. :) He got rid of my mouth full of silver, thank God, and evened
up my smile. I know there is a formal name for it, but I always had a «gummy» smile. I feel very good about him. He’s honest and very caring.

Dr. Mele is a true, caring professional. The office staff is efficient and helpful. I put my full trust in whatever Dr. Mele prescribes.

As an aging child of the pre-​floridation era and with a mouthful of silver to prove it, I have spent my time in dentists offices. Over the years, I have helped dentists thrive — and often retire early. So it is no wonder that within my lifetime, I have burned through 3 dentists and 2 endodontists. You can call Dr. Dan Mele dentist #6.
Luckily, I am happy to say, Dan is one of the best. Cheerful, humorous and professionally competent.
I have already put him and his personable staff to work for all the normal stuff like cleanings and refillings, but also for a root canal, and now today, a cap for sad old tooth #31.
After breaking the corner of the molar off yesterday (while eating a fish taco, no less!) I called the office and Dr. Mele was able to work me in and take care of the problem the next day. Special shout out to Carol, the country music fan and food loving assistant for her efforts to sooth me through the 3 minutes of mouth drooling, anxiety-​filled time when the mold for my permanent cap was being formed (…drooling I think, because she talked mostly about food :-)).

I agree with the other reviewers. Dr. Mele and his staff are really good. Very professional and clean. I’ve avoided going to dentists for years. Would go every five years of so, never made follow up appointments and was always happy to get out of the dentist office.
This experience was different — laid back, friendly staff who were mindful of doing things quickly, but also thoroughly. As good as an experience with a dentist can be!

It’s tough to give five stars to the dentist – after all who likes to go?! But Dr. Mele is fabulous and his staff is friendly and professional.

I love my dentist. He’s nice and funny and tries to make each visit as painless as possible. His office is sparkling clean and the receptionists and assistants are very friendly and sincere. Plus they have a really cool fish tank in the waiting area. If you are looking for a dentist, definitely go here. If I could show you a before and after picture of me with and with out braces, you will be able to see that he can work miracles.
