Drad Computers

Drad computers has been my «where to turn» computer experts since I moved to the Northwest part of the city about 20 years ago. Andrea and Greg have always been helpful in getting me back on line which could have entailed getting my laptop running more smoothly to sending one of their sons to my house to remove viruses off my desktop in my home office. I’ve dropped off my laptop or hard drive several times over the years. And Drads has always been courteous, professional and knowledgeable in getting back to me with regard to any problem that may have needed tending to. In the years that I have been going there, I have purchased at least two refurbished laptops when I wanted to upgrade, and I also bought a used IPad there a few years back that I absolutely LOVE which I use at home and is great when going away on vacation including going out of the country.

I stopped in last Saturday with a injured laptop. They looked at it, said they could fix it but needed to order a part and it would be here by Tuesday. I gave $ 50 for the part, Tuesday arrived and they stated the part isn’t here and could be delayed. Wednesday arrived and they left me a message saying they are canceling the order for the part and I could order it on my own faster. I called back asking them to credit my card back and they refused stating «they don’t work for free» and «they spent time ordering the part». I’m currently disputing this transaction with my bank and fully expect to win. A reputable company would be apologizing to me, instead this mom and pop operation has decided to fraudulently keep my $ 50. It’s disgraceful. They’ve never had possession of my system, I was in the store for 15 minutes. I like to patronize small businesses, I had actually planned to buy 2 of their used computers as Xmas gifts. So basically these frauds scammed me out of $ 50 but really lost the $ 500-​$ 600 that I would have spent. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Never ever under any circumstances do business with these clowns.

Owner’s wife is ok, but you’ll have the unfortunate displeasure of meeting the husband first, if you need computer repairs
They have refurbs that are way too expensive
