Express

I don’t like to write bad reviews but because I work hard for the money I make I will say that every time I have gone into this store location I have either had a bad experience with the clothing or the sales Representative.
The quality of their products have gone done since I used to shop their in the late 90’s. As to the staff, please stop hiring people just because they are young and hire more personable people to represent your brand and company. If the staff is more efficient and friendly that will distract me from the lousy product quality.

I wanna give credit where credit is due. First off, retail is tough. I worked high-​end retail for 10+ years and customer service is huge for me. Today I went in on a mission. I’m really particular about what I buy and finicky about snags and stains on a garment, not gonna lie. Melanie, one of the sales associates, was amazing. Not only did she go out of her way to make sure I was happy, she was a pleasure to work with. The other associates were great too, including the very nice gentlemen who rang me up. All around great customer service experience. Can’t wait to wear my hot new threads!

more like 3 ½ stars. i’m usually not a real big express fan but i was starting to get desperate. i had to find an outfit for a work gala and didn’t have anything until the day of!
anyways, with that being said… this express is pretty cool. the store is large and the staff are extremely friendly. i was greeted as soon as i walked in and told the specials. as i perused, i was approached again and asked if i needed any help and told the specials again.
i don’t normally like express clothes and didn’t find anything that day but the customer service was so good, i thought they deserved to get some stars.

Horrible customer service! I don’t remember his name but his initial is M R, he was being really rude, and acted like he wanted to throw the bag at me when he finished ringing me up!

One star for the bitchy guy at the register. Dude needs to put his attitude on check.

Some seasons I love their clothes, and some seasons nothing interests me, but today I walked in ‘cuz I needed to buy a tank top and ended up just doing my fall clothes shopping (which, having just moved from SF, meant I ended up with like 10 things). Everyone I interacted with was *extraordinarly* helpful. From the dressing room guy who made it absolutely clear that I should send him to get any extra sizes (and did) and also offered advice on sizing; to the floor staff who offered to help with anything, answer any questions, start a stack for me in the dressing room, or take things to leave at the register; to the register guy who had scanned and folded half the things in my pre-​delivered pile before I even got there. Granted, it was not a busy time, so they weren’t otherwise overwhelmed, but still. 5 stars for service, I’m floored.

I don’t really shop at express often bc of the high prices, but they had such a great deal going on right now, that I had to stop in. So glad I did! I found a romper, a work skirt, and a really cute summer dress for under $ 50! SCORE! The staff here was also great. They made sure I was happy and made sure I found everthing I needed.
Like I said, not a big Express shopper, but the staff and awesome sale will make me come back again. Maybe this weekend??? Lol

I am a huge Express fan. They seem to always have clothes that are stylish & the clothes always fit me well. So I went into this Express the other day to do some quick shopping for the weekend. Everything was neat & organized. They asked me if I needed help finding a size. This place was also pretty busy the day I walked in & I was sorta in a rush.
They set up a fitting room for me however, while I was trying clothes on I wished someone came and asked if I needed something in a different size or asked if I needed help even but, it was fine. I simply returned what I was trying on & found the same item in a different size tried it on & then paid & left with my merchandise. I am quite sure I will be back again.

This is a pretty big Express outpost for being in a little mall. The line can get pretty long at lunchtime, but it usually goes pretty fast. The staff there are surprisingly really friendly and always really helpful.
Always have great sales, and always have exactly what I’m looking for. If you see something cute, and happen to have it in your size (like pants, dresses, and work appropriate shirts), BUY IT. It won’t be there again, as they don’t tend to get much more in stock afterward from what I can tell.
So dangerous working so close to here…

When I was in college, and even in graduate school, I bought most of my «good» clothes at Express. I would put on these good clothes, go to The Olive Garden, order house Chianti and think I was all that.
Much like The Olive Garden and house Chianti, the clothing from is Express is often not bad; however, it is not good. While the fit of the clothing is often flattering, the quality of the fabric and workmanship just don’t impress. This holds true for men’s and women’s clothing. That being said, they do have some cute items and great sales where you can pick up a few trendy pieces or accessories.
Overall, I would give the Express stores 3 stars, but this location suffers in cleanliness, organization and service. Also — there are no benches or stools in the dressing rooms, which can make trying on pants an exciting balance challenge.

I would pretty much never pay retail price for anything from Express, but their work pants always fit me just right and if you hit them up during a buy one, get one half off sale with a $ 65 off $ 250 coupon, you find yourself paying close to half price for those $ 70 pants.
Under no circumstances does the quality of construction of these clothes warrant a $ 70 price tag. But $ 35 or $ 40? I can stomach that for some classic, well tailored slacks to wear to work in those colder months.
This store location always seems to have 15 girls working the clothing floor and 1 girl at the register. Checking out takes an age sometimes. But they do usually have my size, so it’s not all bad.

Went to Express today, after going online and being pleasantly surprised with their fall collection of printed shirts, dresses and these sequin tank tops which I am secretly obsessed with (well, not secretly anymore). I was greeted upon entry and tried on a few things in the fitting room. As I was leaving, with a few dresses in hand, I overheard the attendant saying to a customer that she had to «run upstairs» to get a t-​shirt in his size. I wanted to buy a pair of cute wedge booties, but they were scuffed. Instead of paying for shipping online, I thought, hey! I’ll just ask this girl to «run upstairs» to get me another pair of shoes in my size. Well… when I asked her if there were anymore sizes «upstairs» she simply replied «NO». Guess she had enough exercise for one day. Thanks for nothing, lazy girl.
That said, Express does have some really cute stuff. Just don’t ask for any back stock.

express is ine of the best woman’s clothing stores around. Especially if your not a size 2, and are a woman who actually wears woman’s sizes. Yes its great for 2 thru 6 as well, but we all know u guys can shop anywhere. Let me please clear up the huge misconception that express is expensive. yes they’re origiona tags are a bit high, but they’re sales are unbeatable and if you score coupons by sighning up, you can get desighner fit clothing at thrift store prices. They’re coupons are no chincy 10 bucks off 150 or more, either. almost every month i recieve coupons for 40 bucks off @$ 100 and $ 30off$ 75.thats over 40%off already marked down prices… they let u use the coupons on sale items!!! 175 dollars worth of really nice clothes for $ 105…and i scored 3 pairs of kick ass sandals for $ 60 bucks! origional price$ 40 marked down 50% and had a $ 20 coupon off $ 60 or more. if you’ve been under the impression that the’re expensive and or taylored to fit «small» girls please give them another
a happy size 12 with the only thing boldging out of my perfectly fitted jeans, being the xtra cashed i saved on way nice clothes i got on a target budget… happy shopping

Over the years, Express has gotten further and further away from the type of clothing any respectable adult should own. I used to come here for jeans, the MX shirts, even the occasional suit but these days its difficult to find an item here without a huge, ugly design polluting it. Perhaps I have aged and professioned out of the target demographic but I’m pretty sure it has been a mutual effort shared by Express’ menswear designers.
NOW, the real reason for this review…
The winter 2009-​10 line at Express features a plaid peacoat (
) which is quite interesting. Based upon extensive research I performed this weekend, i.e. watching a GOOD TIMES marathon on TV Land, this is an EXACT replica of the coat worn on the show by Jimmy «J.J.» Walker. So, if you need to keep warm this winter and want to look DYN-​O-​MITE while doing it, you should head on over to Express.
(N.B. I did not check the women’s section for Esther Rolle-​inspired items.)

Wait a minute, are you sure I’m not ripping the store off?! What do you mean I can get 8 fitted shirts for $ 150 and you’ll give me coupons for $ 50 off?! And you always carry my size?! I’m in love… These clothes are great for the humdrum 9 – 5 office job. All of the shirts come in modern and form fitting cuts, in a variety of colors that change with the seasons! Their wares are meticulously kept in size order and well stocked! I haven’t purchased any pants or jeans here, so I can’t rate the store on their bottoms… But their tops are great! The staff is fun and very helpful!

The jeans fit. Plain and simple. Being a lil guy with who wears a 32×30 makes jean shopping difficult. I’ve tried shops all over looking for a good pair (and fit) and always end up coming back here. The MX shirt and their polo fit me great too.
