I’ve been going to these guys for years for cooked foods for parties I’ve thrown, and for BBQ meats.
They are accommodating, and the foods they sell are top shelf.

Everyday, on my quest to find a good lunch, I walked up and down Haverford Avenue during the two weeks that I had training at a nearby business. Typically I would scoff at myself for spending money unnecessarily when I could’ve just brought lunch from
home. The day I found Ferrante’s, I decided to give myself a break.
When I entered, three policemen were standing at the counter. I was a bit taken aback. but there was no trouble here. These men were buying lunch! I stepped up when it was my turn and explained to the man at the counter that it was my 1^st time, and I had no clue what to order. He made multiple suggestions and they all sounded great. But the one that really clicked was the Chicken Cutlet Italiano (total broccoli rabe nut over here– and theirs was superb!).
It was made to perfection! It was also big enough to eat half for lunch and the other half for dinner. I’d like to go back and purchase some of their meats and other tasty selections that I saw in the store that day. Ferrante’s is my new favorite spot for Italian specialties done right!!!

It’s a da best Italian specialty shop outside south Philly. Prime cuts of meat, cold cuts, cheeses, olives, etc. They have frozen gravy and ravioli, lasagna. Get the Godfather zazeech (broccoli rabe and asiago). One of there 10 kinds of homemade sausage. Don’t get scammed at carlino’s

If you live anywhere near this place and buy your meat from the supermarket… STOP!
There is no comparison to the product you are used to and the products that you can get at Ferrante’s. Do you think that restaurants buy there meat from the supermarket? Of course not, so why would you. We buy boneless chicken breasts every week and it is so good I would never purchase from anywhere else again. Beef products are also great. They grind the chuck when you order it if you want and it makes the best burgers ever

The guys behind the counter will help you anyway they can and even spice your meat if you like as well as give you cooking tips

Deli counter is also great with boars head, homemade meats and sandwiches. They also have prepared foods that you can just take home and heat up for dinner. Plus there is catering for large or small parties.
And the people are damn nice.
Try this place and you will become a regular. Ferrante’s is the best!
