There’s a list why this fine wine & good spirits is my second favorite place to get hard liquor and wine(the first being on 20th and Market). Top two reason: it’s clean and pretty big and a lot nicer than the ones in my neighborhood– they even have tastings. Two-they have a huge parking lot so it’s convenient! Sad face: no ice!

This is probably one of the nicer Wine and Spirits I’ve been to in Philly. Everything is really nicely organized, well-lit and friendly employees. Nice W&S if you’re in south philly area

Still asking why booze in PA should be private and not state run? I have a one punch knock-out answer for that. Walk into ANY Total Wine in the country. Game. Set. Match or you could go with the Chris Tucker«YOUGOTKNOCKEDTHE #@$% OUT!!!».

This my favorite Wine and Liquor store around — they have a HUGEGREAT selection and they have good sales and coupons as well. I have also been looking for a specific wine that wasn’t on the shelf(it looked to be sold out) and they went in the back and found me that wine. This location is always really clean, really well stocked(except for that one time) and other than new years the lines move really quickly. Its an easy in and out place and I will be that you will always find what you are looking for here. The only lose a star for not being open on Sunday… that is a huge irritation.

This 5 star review is essentially due to the fact that it is being compared to the other State liquor stores in PA. The place was recently renovated and is amazingly nice by PA state store standards. It actually appears that its more of a privately operated store than a state run store. The selection is pretty good. Wine selection is nothing compared to Total Wine in Delaware or something similar to that. They also have a good selection of liquors including some top shelf stuff that might be more difficult to find at other PA store locations. The employees are helpful. The pricing is a little high, but so are all PA stores. If you catch a sale you can walk out with a good deal though.

Quite a convenient location. Clean, well-managed, well-lit, and, while it’s no Canal’s or Bottle King, it’s better-stocked than your average Philly corner store, especially for wine. Easy parking, too. The employees are quite friendly and make short work of a long line. Yeah, you’re gonna be paying Pennsylvania prices, but at least you don’t feel really sleazy while doing it. There’s a basket of discounted wine in the front that yields some surprises sometimes. If you’re feeling indecisive, they have some staff reviews with comments and recommendations posted right on the shelves, which I thought was nice. There’s also the«Chairman’s choice,» which usually satisfies(Although I’m not terribly picky). I’d definitely recommend this Wine & Spirits location.

Really nice, clean store. Pretty hardwood, organized shelves, good layout. I feel fancy walking in here. They have a multi-page list of all their sales for the month. Do the other liquor stores have this? I’ve never seen it until here, where it’s on the counter available for anyone to take. Same overpriced small selection that you’ll find in every other PA liquor store. But, compared to the one in my neighborhood(Fairmount), this selection feels huge, and they have almost everything in stock.

Although I’m not a fan of state run liquor stores, this is by far the best Wine & Spirits store I’ve visited. I was surprised because it’s located in the most random of neighborhoods(I think) near the big box stores down S Columbus Blvd. I had written off that store because I had been up till now, very disappointed with the offerings in the state stores. A friend told me that I should check out this store. They had been closed for months for a renovation and had recently re-opened. I went there and was very pleasantly surprised! I asked the associate for a premium Australian wine. 1– She was familiar with the label I was looking for 2– She led me to it 3– She suggested other wines I might like This will be my go to store in Philadelphia. The four stars I’m giving this store is relative to the other Wine & Spirits stores. I’d like to give the State of PA1 star for regulating alcohol.
