I love this little library! It has a great staff who are friendly and helpful. There’s an excellent selection of books, magazines, and movies. It’s usually quiet even after school. The library is conveniently located right off Girard Avenue with lots of restaurants nearby.

Though I’m not a Philly resident, the high school student I tutor is, so we decided to meet at this little library tucked in Fishtown. It’s easy to miss, but colorfully decorated inside and out, making it a homey little spot and definitely-kid friendly.
As a nice plus there was plenty of free street parking. The staff was friendly, and we were able to get a table by the front to get some work done.

I love my local branch of the Philadelphia Free Library. It is so easy to request a book from another branch and pick it up in Fishtown. It is somewhat inconvient that the library is not open on the weekends. I was ok for the most part because I never work on Mondays. Sometimes I had to wait to use the computer. The longest I usually waited was for about 10 minutes. I just used that time to look at other books in the libraries collection.
