This review is about the morning show. Bob Kelly & Sue Serio are great but Mike Jerrick has got to go. He is the most sexist host ever in the channels history. They unloaded him about 4 years ago but some unknown reason they rehired him. The poor woman who has to co-host with him has my sincerest sympathies. While we’re at it Jen Fredicks also has no place on this program. Her «talents» would do better hosting a Club Risqué infomerical. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Fox 29 should do something to make it a more informative program rather than 4 hours of fluff. The station’s original format back in the 80’s was the template that others now follow. Go back to the future people.

The morning show is a nightmare. Like everything in Philadelphia, they are obsessed with Philadelphia sports and nothing else… one very tan reporter who shall remain nameless is miserable ALL of the time. Just keep John Anderson and get rid of everyone else. I’d also like to drop kick Bus Stop Buddy.

With the major net works becoming so business oriented Fox29 (
) is refreshingly home town and in the past few years their news cast has become my staple for morning TV watching. If one doesn’t care about the NY fashion trends or other esoteric fair Fox29 is the place to be. The personalities work well together and there’s something for everyone. One can see how hard each staffer works every day to make their local bit meaningful. Where else will you get every news staffer doing local stories. Politicians come here first when they want to get a message out. It’s that good and up to date. Most of the staff can be reached on Facebook as well making them accessible to their audience.

Fox News isn’t exactly unbiased. Frankly, it bothers the hell out of me that this particular news station is situated between Ben Franklin’s post office and Independence Hall.
However, everyone deserves an opinion, so it’s not like I’d petition against them. They’re just extremely biased.
