Wonder place. Opened only about 4 months ago it is sure a crowd pleaser. We walked in and were completely taken away by the atmosphere and the deserts(lol). Overall we had a great experience and plan to be back. Located just within Society Hill– Frieda is a must! Thanks for the awesome service!

This new little café/restaurant has made a huge difference in our community. It is a meeting place for many that feels like home. The menu is just right for lite eating, as are the coffee and sweets. All made fresh every day. It’s an interesting space, open and light and a great place to sit and read and talk to others. On the weekends there are specials, and their quiche is wonderful.

Actually I’m close to giving this one star. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and while the waitstaff was pleasant enough the vibe just seemed rather cool and standoffish. As far as décor goes, well urban spartan would about as nice as I could say, if you like bare concrete, semi-finished ceilings and exposed pipes then this is the place for you. We ordered one egg white omelet and one«American» omelet(basically a western omelet). The omelets were served on cold plates accompanied by nothing(hash browns or breakfast meats were not on the menu) except a half of a piece of toast, one pat of butter and a modicum of jam. Both omelets were overcooked, dry and nearly tasteless, Maybe omelets aren’t their thing, maybe other dishes are better, maybe their bakery is their forte but our experience was a big miss, One saving grace was it wasn’t all that expensive for a place that’s trying to do the urban chic thing. On the other hand, anything is too much for such a disappointing meal.

Excellent! We live in Society Hill Towers so we are very glad this excellent breakfast and lunch opportunity is there. We love the Continental Plate and the Granola yogurt to split. Coffee is delicious. Their space is spare, light and has high ceilings that give an excellent feel. Service is low key. Very nice people. Make sure you get there soon — you will want to come back often!

The BEST lemon curd EVER and you can buy it in a jar to take home. Excellent scones as well. Great vibe. Comfy and lovely. Can’t wait to have high tea there.

A unique coffee house with a mission: to connect generations in a classic coffee house setting. An article online describes it as a «social enterprise start-up» and emphasizes the store as a means to help benefit the community. The inside feels a bit like an art installation. There is an area for kids to play and also plenty of open space. It’s definitely worth checking out if you want something other than the standard corporate coffee house vibe. The coffee is definitely of higher quality.

This lovely spot was a welcome discovery for both the eyes and the tastebuds. We had a very restorative cup of tea and ogled the pastries on offer. The care put into the food seems tops. The atmosphere was gorgeous and artsy. An all around win!
