The prices are unbeatable, I paid $ 699 for a huge two piece furniture set. Probably worth a lot more than what he knocked it down to. Only $ 65 to delivery to my apartment in Philly, where others said it would be $ 99 and up. The guy was really nice. Gave me a free lamp when I bought the set. Let me tell you a little more about my experience, though. Upon arrival, I saw a family screaming at the manager for selling their mattress that they put money down on to hold. His only response was«Someone else wanted it and paid in full.» And the mgr would not give the man his money back. I figured the customer was crazy, no way would someone do that. So I purchased furniture from here anyway. I was told the furniture would be delivered in as little as two days. He told me this after I swiped my card, so he really did not need to lie, he already made the sale. Two weeks went by, and I finally found the time to give the guy a phone call. He knew exactly who I was. and told me he’d call me either that day or the next to schedule a delivery time. He was really nice about it. 9am the next day rolls around and I wake up to my phone going off every TWO seconds(I counted). He called my cell six times and sent me 19 texts and continued to send them every two seconds saying my furniture would be delivered today(12⁄8) between 11am-2pm. He would not stop sending it until I answered him. Thank God I have unlimited data and texts. I never scheduled this delivery, I have to work at 1pm and have over an hour commute. I just had to tell my boss I am going to be very late because I fear if I cancel, I won’t see my furniture. So far it’s 1pm and no sign of delivery men. and I have no cash to tip them because this was so unexpected…

This is actually the worst experience I’ve had at any furniture store. Having just moved to the area, and needing to furnish the entire apartment, we decided to try this local store on City Ave. The sales person was friendly upon first entering, and the process was smooth up to paying for the furniture. Once we had paid, he was really no longer interested in us, and we may as well have ceased to exist. He couldn’t give us a solid date, but said that he would call on Monday to update us about the delivery; that was Saturday. By Friday, my fiancé decided to give him a call, and he was very rude to rude to her, and still had no information about delivery. The gist of the information is that we would get it, when we get and we should just be patient. He actually hung up on me when I tried to address the issue with him. Expect decent customer service when you go in, but feel neglected, if not insulted, once you have paid your money.

We bought our furniture from the Upper Darby location, but this is the same company and both stores work with one another with no problems. We bought a new Coaster bedroom set, Coaster leather sectional, Ashley coffee table and end table, a Coaster dining table, chairs, and buffet, and a Sealy mattress, and we could not believe how low the price was(easily $ 2000 less than the next cheapest store) compared to every other furniture store we had visited. The furniture arrived quickly(within a few days), and the store staff delivered it to the house on-time. They set it up for us, and didn’t complain when we kept moving it around in the rooms until we liked the placement. Everyone was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. The quality of the furniture we chose(thanks to the store manager who made his recommendations for the best companies for each type of furniture set) is fantastic and we could not be happier with our choices.
