I took my 2.5 yr old there on Sunday for open gym. He loved it! There were kids of all ages and everyone — whether working, playing, or parenting — was super nice. When open play was over my son didn’t want to leave. It was a great atmosphere and we will definitely be going back. Highly recommended for kid fun!

Fernando is the heart and soul of this place. Warm, patient, encouraging, and playful — perfect person to teach children(young and old). He engages the kids and they all have an immediate rapport with him(bonus: knows all the kids’ names) I have a nearly 3 year old that has been coming here for the last couple months and she loves it. Classes are small and fun and she works really hard. She learns to take turns, has become more physically confident, balanced, more sure on her feet — it’s been great to see the transformation. The highlight always for her is the trampoline at the end. Fun! Prices for classes are very reasonable, and are offered both during weekdays and weekends to accommodate both stay-at-home and working parents. The location is right by the Berks EL stop and makes getting there a breeze, always plenty of parking around there too. As Leo V.‘s review states, there are a couple superfluous downsides, the building itself needs some TLC, bathroom could be nicer/cleaner and the AC doesn’t always work, but these things could never keep us away, they’re just things I’ve noticed. There are NOT deal breakers by any means. Perfect place for kids who have energy to burn.

We had our three-year-old’s birthday party at Fusion. There are other places that have more elaborate facilities, but what those places lack is Fernando. Fernando is the very hands-on owner operator of fusion gym. He is excellent with the kids and I couldn’t recommend this place more

Fusion tumbling is owned and operated by Fernando, a former college gymnast. I have an almost 4yo boy and almost 2yo girl. Both love coming here for the structured lessons. My son is in a group with kids about his age without parental involvement and my daughter is in a class that one of us goes in with her. Classes are about 45 minutes just enough time to wear them out. I know that his older classes are currently more popular and have big groups but for now these little kids classes are pretty small. The biggest thing for us the incredible value that this place is. Right now if you sign up 2 or more kids its 35/mo/kid for unlimited classes without a long term commitment. We can typically get our kids to 2 – 3 lessons per week each depending on their schedule and that’s a great deal. My daughter has incredible stability and coordination after going here for 3 months now. She can do stairs with a tremendous amount of confidence which helps a lot in our 100yo Fishtown home. My son has gained a tremendous amount of confidence in his abilities and has become much more exploratory on unfamiliar playgrounds showing me all the cool tricks he’s figured out. He literally asks me every single day if it’s tumbling day. I know this sounds gushy and perhaps like a planted review but believe me it’s just that good. A couple downsides: sometimes the Ac doesn’t work and he has to cancel classes that’s a feature of the building. The bathroom could also be nicer. But I’m not complaining for the price and attention my kids are getting these are minor quibbles.
