Gennaro’s Famous Pizza

Should have listened to other Unilocalers. This pizza was probably among the worst I’ve had… and I’ve had a lot of pizza. Cheese was barely melted. Had to throw it in the oven after it was delivered to finish cooking it. Pie was huuuuge, but still… not worth it. Pizza Hut is better, and that’s saying something.

Omigod, the vegetarian stromboli. I got it by accident. They got my order wrong and I ended up not minding. I ordered a small vegetarian pizza, hold the mushrooms, hold the broccoli. And onion rings. And a piece of carrot cake. They brought me a vegetarian stromboli, hold the mushrooms, hold the broccoli. And onion rings. And a piece of carrot cake. I checked the receipt, I definitely ordered these toppings on a pizza, and I got these toppings in a stromboli. But the stromboli was DELICIOUS AND AMAZING and the bread was so SOFT and everything was SO GOOD and the onions were FRIED AND SWEET. And they held the mushrooms and broccoli and didn’t forget the onion rings and carrot cake. I really love this place now and I’m going to get the vegetarian stromboli on a regular basis now. Gennaro’s Famous Pizza and the Universe team up to bring me dinner.

Their wings are okay. I ordered on grubhub and paid with a card. I picked up my food and when I got home they called and accused me of stealing. The woman on the phone didn’t read the grubhub receipt until after I told her three times that I paid with my card. No apology. They’ve lost my business.

By far the worst as far as take out goes. The fries are never done, even when you put in a special request to have them cooked thoroughly. After vowing to never order from here again 5 months ago, I did today out of desperation. Thanks for reminding why I stopped dining here.
I don’t recommend wasting your money or taste buds on this crap.

I ordered buffalo wings from here on a Sunday night. It took about 45 minutes for it to arrive and the wings were horrible. It tasted like a homemade sauce with too much ketchup, not to mention the wings were overlooked. It was my first and last time ordering from this place.

There isn’t much to say about this place. I almost never have a lunch break at work, if I have the rare 15 minutes and didn’t brownbag it this is a last minute resort. It’s not much to look at, I have tripped almost every time I’ve walked in because the entrance rug is always bunched up, and the pizza is (and I’m being generous here) just a step above roller rink pizza. A slice is $ 2, about $ 1 more per slice than it’s worth, but the owner seems friendly enough so though for me it’s a «eek, me thinks not», he saves the day for himself with a «meh, I’ve experienced better.»

Ew. Seriously. The pizza arrived cold and we all got sick afterward. Ew.
