I recently noticed Giorgio on one of the apps I use regularly for delivery. My go-to pizza spots are Kermit’s and Santucci’s, but I was in the mood for something different and gave Giorgio Pizza a try. It’s worth noting that the prices at Giorgio are a lot lower than these other spots. We ordered a sausage pizza and some arancini. Delivery was fast and the food was just the right temp. While the sausage on the pizza was average, I found the pizza overall to be pretty solid. The arancini was cooked nicely but it was sitting in sauce so the parts facing the sauce became soggy. I’d recommend serving the sauce separately for take-out or delivery. I would definitely consider Giorgio again for fast pizza delivery when I’m not looking for anything extra fancy.

They do a really good buffalo pizza and the roasted garlic and parmesan chicken wings do not disappoint! The chicken wings have a great amount of meat on them and are worth the money. Delivery was quick through Caviar also…

I had high expectations for this place after the reviews and after diding at Girogio’s on pine. Although I did not order pizza, I did order a salad and pasta. The service was sub par. I was told 30 minutes for my food, I got there about 35 minutes after I ordered, nothing was ready i continued to wait another 45 minutes and there was not one other customer in the place. Speaking of the place it is very awkward inside. The salad was drenched in dressing and only had some cheese and sun dried tomatoes. I regretted spending the money on something I could’ve thrown together myself. I probably won’t order from here again too many better options out there.

I’m actually pretty surprised by the high reviews as this place was disappointingly decent. Pizza was eh and service was eh. I ordered a washington square west pizza(added meatballs). Just okay. Nothing exciting or memorable. Not very flavorful(don’t be fooled by the«truffle» mushrooms). The crust was subpar — not crispy enough. I literally don’t even remember it enough to write more. This is the quintessential place to get a slice when you don’t care and have no time.(Sorry but true). They are BYO and have nice décor and seating though. Also the service is meh. I called my order in no problem and was told 25 min. Arrived at the 20 min mark and only then did they start to make my pizza. Seriously? When I asked, they said they had oven troubles. Fine. I said I would be back then. Waitress said it would take 10 min, recited my number to me, and said she would call me. I came back 15 min later and the pizza was ready, sitting on top of the oven. Thanks for NOT calling me. In total, the pizza took 40 min from call time to in my hands. Prices are okay… I did get a pricey pizza with $ 3 meatball = $ 21, but for that price I may as well get a heavenly truffle pizza at birra or a fancy pizza at nomad roman. I will likely never return. Not with all the better options nearby(even if they are pricier).

My friend and I ordered a slice of the Giorgio tomato, the kale pesto, the margherita, the washington square west, and the eggplant to make up our own pie that night. Luckily we ordered one slice of each that we wanted to try because the slices are big and cutting them in half was more than enough! The slices are crisp, not too crisp but not too chewy, just right; the sauce is savory with just a hint of sweetness; all the toppings were fresh as can be. Wish I had some leftover for breakfast!

I’m only giving this place 4 stars and not 5 because I got my slices to go. There was a great selection of a packed veggie slice, tomato, meat-lover, etc., and I enjoyed my pizza slices, but ultimately I’m dying to go back and order myself a pie made to order. Once I got the slices home they weren’t as crispy and magnificent as they would have been if I got them made to order or even just ate them immediately at the restaurant. So I’ll be changing this review next time I go back in and bring my own wine and enjoy the garlic bread, my own pie, and some cannoli. I can’t wait to return. Good job, Giorgio!

This place is great, and definitely a nice compliment to the neighborhood! The décor is clean and fresh and the menu has nice variety. It is such a great hybrid spot, offering delicious pizzas, sandwiches, salads, pastas, etc. all at an affordable price point! It is also BYOB, which is always enjoyable, and again makes it AFFORDABLE. I highly recommend it, if you are looking for a delicious yet inexpensive dinner in the city, with a nice and clean ambiance. This is a great friends spot! My only recommendation: Get more signage for the front! The current signage on the side is inconspicuous. If I was simply walking by I would not know there was a restaurant inside. Also market this to the Wash Sq. West Civic Association. This would be a hit to people in the neighborhood who simply want to walk and grab a delicious, quick and comfortable dinner. I will be back!

Had to try this place because I love Giorgio on Pine so much, and wanted to see what Giorgio had up his sleeve in the pizza department. Was not disappointed! Simple, stylish décor, but very relaxed with comfortable booths and tables and reminiscent of your favorite hometown pizza parlor; it all feels very familiar. BYOB, which is always a plus. They started us with complementary garlic bread, which was delicious, especially with our beer. We looked over the menu for a while, and were tempted to order their salads and sandwiches(and will be back for those!), but settled on what we came for– the pizza. Ordered two 10″ pizzas and split them(Classico and Washington Square), and both were absolutely perfect– great dough, great ingredients, and hot out of the oven. It is so hard to find a great pizza place in Center City– so glad we stopped in, definitely a new favorite! P. S. I hear they are going to start delivery in the upcoming weeks(eek!), but perimeter TBD.
