I when there for my thanksgiving dish.
I spent around $ 140.00 for whole wild king salmon fillet and shrimp, scallop, clam…
I was awesome thanksgiving dishes. .
I do recommend people to go shop!!!

I was visiting Philly from the wild wild west (Texas) so I really appreciated the fresh oysters. Large blue points for $ 1.50, shucked to order and served with cocktail/hot sauce! You can get the smaller, sweeter oysters for around a dollar too, and they’re a bit cheaper unshucked.
Came here three days in a row, flirting with food poisoning. The ladies at the shop aren’t shits and giggles, but they get down to business and are charming like your favourite grumpy aunt.

This is my 2^nd favorite fish market in Reading Terminal. I particularly like the Golden Fish Market for their crabs. In the summer they sell nice bags of plain ol’ crab claws which are fun to pick at. I’ve also gotten some great soft shells here over the years. Last week, I stopped by at around 5:30 on a weekday when they were starting to pack up. I asked if they had any of their cooked crabs and what the price was. The employees were extremely friendly and went out of their way to go into the packed-up containers to fulfill my crab cravings. :) They even hooked me up with an extra crab because one of the crabs was missing a claw.
So if you have a crab craving, go here!
