When I went here to buy my bf his Christmas present, I was thrilled. The employees were awesome and caught all my nerd jokes. Plus they were really helpful. My bf loved his present, and I know it was partially due to the sincere friendliness of the emloyees. Will return!

Awesome place. Definitly my kind of game store, being the retro gamer that I am, I appreciate that they have super nintendo hooked up with Mario all stars playing. They also have 3 arcade games in the back(Metal Slug, Some Street fighter game, and I forget the other) Their one of the few game stores that still sell old nintendo, super nintendo, genesis, gameboy, gamegear, virtua boy(Yes, VIRTUABOY) games. And since I have a retro center in my personal basement, this is a great place for me to pick up games to add to my retro collection. Like the last reviewer said, the people who work there definitly know their stuff as far as video games. I wouldnt mind working there myself. They seem to keep a good stock of merchandise too. I was looking for a Nyko perfect shot gun for my Wii and no gamestops had them, but Got Game had a bunch of them in stock. The only flaw they have is that they don’t have a good website!

If your a video gamer then this is the perfect spot to check out. It has games for just about every system imaginable and the prices can be pretty reasonable. most of it’s selection is second hand and they generally give you a better trade in deal than some of the other places. They also have a couple demo sections set up where you can play whatever they have set up for the day. the staff are all die hard gamers so they’re bound to know a thing or 2 about what you’re thinking about buying. There are two flaws about here. first off is the fact that it used to be a lot bigger. The South Street store front that it’s in recently got cut down to make room for a fashion boutique, and this store suffered from the cut in size. but they still manage to keep it’s selection fairly spread out. The second flaw is the fact that it generally brings in a younger crowd(video games after all) that tend to stick around a little too long. Got Game also has an airbrushed goods section that actually makes some pretty good artwork and clothing. they sure do like their comics and tend to make a lot of designs based on superheros and the like. but if you have a design in mind then they can do a pretty good job of making it come to life.
