Jefferson Internal Medicine Associates

I’ve been coming here for a few months. I usually see either Dr. Chen, Dr. Powell or Dr. Gerbino. Most of the doctors will correspond via email on the Jefferson portal, Dr. Powell is great at email. I think that these doctors are personable, knowledgeable and usually I can get into see someone for a sick visit on the same day or next day. I feel that the doctor’s care about my well-​being and try very hard, they reply to on call pages promptly and stay on top of health issues.
The MAs are nice, they try to accommodate individual needs and requests, such as manual BP cuffs over automated and they listen. The front desk staff is nice too, getting through on the phone is okay, usually there’s a little bit of a wait to get through on the phone. I’m happy here, I’ll be back.

Outstanding primary care at Jefferson Internal medicine includes an attending physician for same day Saturday appointments. I’ve been a patient for 4 years.
All the doctors are great, especially Dr. Lee, my PCP. It’s easy to get same day, next day or appointments 2 or 3 months out. Schedulers and front desk are very accommodating.

It’s not easy finding an internal medicine doctor, even in a huge city like Philly where there are tons of doctors! I came to see Dr. Bracken Babula here after having problems with the internal medicine practice from another hospital. Most of my physicians are at Jefferson and I’m a former student at the university, so I figured I would give this practice a try. I was able to schedule an appointment pretty quickly and didn’t have to wait long after checking in, which are always a few added bonuses. My visit was thorough and he answered all my questions. He also had a med student with him that day as Jefferson is a teaching hospital (fine by me since I learned so much from clinicals at Jeff!) Overall, I had a very positive experience and recommend this practice to anyone.

Good group of mostly young, hip doctors. Good at calling in scripts for me and easy to get an appointment albeit after being on hold for 15 minutes. Recommended.

Jefferson Int Med aka JIMA does what it needs to do to keep me happy. i thought they deserved their own review separate from the hospital itself. i can only speak direct experience about dr. lee, who has been nothing but professional and well-​mannered in my visits. the ladies at the front desk aren’t the typical cranky ones i usually find in medical offices, so that’s a nice surprise. check-​out can be a little backed up at times but it’s only because they’re thoroughly helpful if you require a referral or to schedule your next visit.
