Juniata Family Practice

First off, this Dr’s office is on Luzerne St., not Hunting Park Ave. so Jen may be talking about a different Dr. I’m very happy with my Dr. Gorti at this office. He is helpful, caring & follows up. This office makes appointments & they keep them. I rarely have to wait long.

My memories of this facility are only bad ones. The staff here is friendly but the doctors have no mercy. You tell them something hurts and they go ahead and squeeze it without warning. I remember being in more pain when I left than what I went in with. I also remember them guessing as to what you may have. At least to me it seemed like a guess. The Doctor would look at you once and say you have tonsillitis without doing any tests. Maybe he was just that good, I don’t know. I just remember him being very mean. The nurses were always nice when withdrawing blood and the student doctors were nice as well.
Its a small place but parking was never hard to find. Its located on a big street (Hunting Park) so there was plenty street parking.
