So much better than the fatty franklin fountain! I dont need the 1800’s epic mustache gimmick and I also dont need all the calories. These people are so nice, they take credit cards(unlike Old City Frozen yogurt!), and I go often without disappointment.

I’m giving this place three star, because when I came near closing time, the lady was so nice and accommodated me even though she was cleaning up and putting everything away. Their service is definitely good. The frozen yogurt I had was just ok, kind of runny. Somehow I feel their website looks better than the actual store experience.

I’m such a sucker for frozen yogurt — I blame my high school for that(yeah, they installed a froyo machine in the lunchroom in an effort to get more calcium into the all-girl population — guess what happened…). And Just Great Frozen Yogurt has got a serious pair of balls, not only for giving themselves that name but also for opening up right next door to Franklin Fountain. As I walked up the block, all I could see was the crowd surrounding The Fountain, waiting in the line that kept getting longer or sitting eating ice cream treats. Inside the froyo shop, a family was enjoying their Mother’s Day frozen dessert together at one of the few tables. The long interior leads to the froyo in back, which had a good variety of flavors that the average person would enjoy — vanilla, triple chocolate, strawberry, mango sorbet, etc. I took a taste sample(I assume the staff has to give it to you since that’s what happened to me — a tad awkward when there are so few people around) of the salted caramel pretzel, which was surprisingly close to what I would expect that flavor to taste like. The froyo was pretty creamy, but no idea what the other flavors are like. The toppings selection is similar to most places, the only thing that stood out was the whipped cream and number of different sauces you could put on to create a decadent sundae. Funny how all of these froyo places are becoming less and less healthy, the complete opposite of how the fad began! I’d still choose Franklin Fountain over them, but if the wait is too long then try them — the prices are the same as every other froyo place out there.

So like Heather G., I went to Just Great Frozen Yogurt because I REFUSED to get in the long line at Franklin Fountain for ice cream.(I’ve heard it’s very good ice cream, but also kind of expensive, too). Anyway, I’m glad I gave Just Great a chance; the shop itself is very whimsical, colorful and inviting. The prices were very reasonable, the frozen yogurt was delicious, and the woman who worked there was very friendly. My 10-year-old son, who had never tasted frozen yogurt, could not stop eating his«cookies and cream» yogurt sundae. I don’t know who owns this business, but it was gutsy to open a few doors down from the famous Franklin Fountain; it was empty inside when my son and I visited(a Saturday afternoon) but I hope business picks up for them, because their frozen yogurt and toppings are delicious(and cheaper)! P. S. They have a nice bathroom – spotless and very stylish!

Right, so, apparently, they’re not dead yet. Check out their dollar menu items.

After seeing the line for the Franklin Fountain I was happy I spotted this place because I was definitely in the mood for something sweet. The name makes me laugh because its so oddly generic. For a Friday night, me and my boyfriend were the only people in there and it kind of sketched me out a bit. No lines though so hey whatever. The salted carmel pretzel or whatever it was was so delicious, I was completely shocked and my boyfriend would not stop talking about how good his coffee flavor was. The prices were really reasonable, especially for philly and the guy at the counter was nice. Lots of seating and more toppings then places I’ve been to in the past. Not gunna lie, I was kind of expecting to get sick from it just because it was a little sketchy to me inside, but I was fine and if I was ever down there again I would surely stop in.

The flavors at Just Great Frozen Yogurt are just great! I would have liked to see more toppings, but it was good enough for me. Also, it’s a great alternative to the unhealthy ice cream shop on the corner. Also, the location is excellent for post First Friday celebrations!

This is exactly what Old City needed, because the other frozen yogurt place absolutely pales in comparison. Great flavor choices, including pumpkin pie, which is the first pumpkin pie flavored anything I’ve had that ACTUALLY tastes like pumpkin pie. Awesome topping selections. They don’t have as much fresh fruit as other places I’ve been, but they do have a diverse selection, including what looked like pomegranate tapioca balls or something. At 49 cents per ounce, it is reasonably priced. They also have a much larger seating area than other FroYo places. The staff are very friendly. AND they accept credit cards, a rarity in Old City!

What happened Just Great? Please stop following and watching me so closely when I’m in your establishment because it’s creepy, and makes me feel really uncomfortable. Please buy plastic bags so if a customer wants to get a few containers of yogurt they can properly transport them. Please fix your credit card machine. Please say«Thank You» and bring back sugar free options.

I came in with a big group post happy hour and they gave free samples to everyone. The yogurt itself doesn’t have that odd saccharine taste, it’s quite good. In addition to the froyo they make the real bubble tea, with actual fruit as opposed to the powdered stuff(though thats available too). Overall, yummy stuff and good experience.

I was on a vacation visiting Philadelphia around the week of 4th of July. It was a hot day as I was visiting pens landing, and I was quite refreshed by the yummy ice cream and the cool environment. This would be a cool place to hang out in the summer. They have comfy couches and coffee tables. oh plus they have free wi-fi

Any place that serves creamy salted caramel frozen yogurt wins. Then there’s the peanut butter… and the dark chocolate… and the sorbets and Original Tart, which are oddly just as creamy, but inexplicably tart as well. Though there’s plenty of fun toppings: mushed peanut butter cups, sprinkles, mini M & M’s, fresh grapes, Just Great lacks my beloved cookie dough… and mochi. Sad face. It’s better than the Fountain, and you waste less time, and there are far fewer 5 year old monsters running amok. The fish tank is nice, and the lazer lights dancing on the walls are whimsical too!
