As a visitor to town, i looked up a few smaller boutiques to visit and this was on my list with all five star reviews. The people writing these reviews must all be in a different age bracket than me because I was very much underwhelmed coming in here. The store is nice, although so crammed full I couldn’t even look through some racks. The sales girl working was very kind, friendly and helpful, but I knew after just a few minutes that this place was not my style. If you’re on the prowl for more of the moment clothing, this is not the place. Mostly black and more mature clothes to be honest. No color, nothing that felt young or fresh. Young twenty-somethings steer clear.

I’ve been a fan of Kiki’s for years and years! Her store is gorgeous — a toy shop for grown-up girls — and she’s just great to work with. She knows exactly what will work for me, and has since the first time I shopped with her at Asta de Blue, a store that used to be in the neighborhood. I still wear the things I bought from her 15 years ago, and get loads of compliments every time.

Kiki Hughes is a boutique chock full of beautiful, sexy, unusual clothing, all of which is unique. The owner knows her clothing and knows women’s bodies, and will select pieces to complement one another and the wearer. The prices are fair for the excellent quality.

I learned about KiKi’s from a colleague who was always dressed impeccably and fashionably. I finally made it in and was totally blown away. The clothes are gorgeous, well-made and unique, the store is breathtaking and KiKi is great to work with. She instinctively knows what will look good on you and works with you to find the perfect outfit. She is very direct and honest; if something doesn’t fit right or doesn’t look good, she will tell you. The clothes are not inexpensive, but they are so well-made that I expect to get many years wear out of them. A definite winner.

This store is beautiful. Not only are there many seemingly one of a kind pieces in the store(as she only stocks a few of each thing), but Kiki also designed the store itself — including an incredibly beautiful use of a real tree. It’s worth going in for that itself. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into every piece that goes in the store, whether its wallpaper for the walls, a curtain for the dressing rooms, or a piece of clothing or jewelry that she is selling. She also really takes the time to help you find the things that work for you, your body, and your style. Though I do feel it necessary to note that this is definitely not a cheap store, it is definitely a beautiful boutique that you should absolutely get to know and love.
