Kingkiner Tree Service

Our previous experiences last year and in 2012 were amazing. This year we worked through figuring out how much to trim on overhanging branches with Elmer very successfully again and are expecting the same great standard as in previous years.

I have never purchased tree removal services through Kingkiner, but I would be inclined to use their company after help I received from them last week.
The morning after a large snowstorm, my car got stuck going down a tiny drop from a driveway onto the street. Inches of snow were still piled up at the edge of the drive, and when I tried to move either forwards or backwards, my wheels just spun and made the problem worse by creating ice.
I was out there for over an hour trying to dig my car out, break up the ice, put down salt, etc. Two guys from Kingkiner drove by in their snow removal truck and saw me struggling. They told me to stay put — they would help. They got out their shovel and ice pick and freed my car, also directing me about when to accelerate and which way to keep my steering wheel. They opened a new bag of salt to help with the process. I tried to give them money for helping me, or at least to repay them for the salt they had used, but they wouldn’t take any of it.
As I mentioned as a disclaimer, I have never actually paid for tree services through them. I have now, however, experienced their quick & efficient emergency snow services, and I can’t say enough good things. I know the guys were busy and they did not have to stop and help, let alone do it for free. I am very grateful for their kindness.
I only caught one man’s name: Mel. There was another guy with him too. To both of you and your company: I can’t say thank you enough!

I can’t recommend strongly enough to stay away from this company. I was given their name by someone who knows the owner.
I contracted with them to prune a tree in front of my home, but they never showed up! 6 months worth of phone calls brought promises of «showing up within the week» or «we’ll be there next Tuesday or Wednesday», etc…
If they didn’t want the work they could have just said so, the job is too small or we don’t like to actually do the work we advertise we do, you know any of those would have been acceptable. I would have moved on to find another service.
I did eventually get my tree pruned, it took the man 4 days from first contact to complete the job. You might want to think about that Kingkiner, 4 days! 4, count them 1,2,3,4!

We had a wonderful experience with Kingkiner. Dave was awesome! We had three tree companies give us estimates. We wanted six trees cut down, and the way our house is set up the use of a crane would be necessary. One company said they weren’t sure if they could even do it. Kinkiner was the most reasonably priced. They were quick and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Couldn’t be happier!

I had a great experience with Kingkiner. I recently purchased an estate sale property that was neglected for years and had to completely gut the inside and rebuild. Needless to say the backyard was an overgrown mess. I needed 6 large trees and overgrown arborvitae as well as much brush and debris removed. I received quotes from 8 other tree services and Kingkiner was the last quote I needed. Elmer asked me what my best quote was and then beat it by $ 300. Also, when he came my dad and I were removing overgrown plants in the flower beds around the house, Elmer told us to stop and he’ll take care of the rest for free.
They came on time, super friendly very professional. Elmer called later to follow up and asked if I was satisfied.
Again, I had a great experience with Kingkiner.

Worst tree company in Montgomery county. Overpriced and poor customer service when they failed to comeback to my house to clean up mess they left in my driveway. The girl on the phone was rude and as a result they lost me as a customer.

Tree care is not what Kingkiner does. They chop down trees, healthy, sick it doesn’t matter. They use scare tactics, saying a tree is going to fall. That was five years ago, the tree is still standing and thankfully we hired an actual arborist.

I have used Kingkiner Tree Service on two occassions now and have been very happy with them. One job was huge and they were a full $ 2000 cheaper than another estimate I got. They come, do the job and send a billl to be paid later. Pretty cool given that most companies require some sort of deposit prior to startung the work to be done.
