I wish there was a negative star. My review is not based upon the food, since I stood at the counter for 20 minutes before anyone appeared. When someone did appear, she got something from behind the counter and went to the rear of the restaurant and continued to read her newspaper. I was told the foid was really good but the restaurant was empty. My guess is because no one comes to wait the tables. Needless to say, I can find another restaurant who will gladly feed me, in exchange for my money.

It’s 9:17pm and I ordered at 8:05 –_-. Not only are they late delivering my food, the man who took my order was rushing me off the phone once he answered my call. This is my first time ordering from here and my last. *Update* My order didn’t get delivered until I called 4 times to cancel my order. The manager called me to apologize but that is not how a business should run. The food was horrible by the way. The chicken looked as if they had freezer burn. *DONOTORDERFROMHERE!* You will be very disappointed! I received my order at 9:47pm! –_–

When my whole family got food poisioning from here years back we never returned. Someone else I know got sick from their food here as well. I recommend you don’t come here and go to Scheshwan(spelling) King down Welsh road across from BVM.

I was craving for Sushi and asked my husband if he could grab some take out. He said a friend of his went to Kum Lin Restaurant for the sushi buffet on Thursday night and the sushi was pretty good and is very fresh and thought he try that place. He brought home some special rolls which was different and it is delicious. The rolls were not ordinary rolls you can get anywhere. The was no rice or seaweed paper there were 5 piece of different sashimi on top(almost like a rainbow roll without the rice and seaweed) the special roll had thinly sliced avocado and in between there was chopped up fish drizzle in spicy and sweet sauce. Omg, it was delicious. My husband also got my favorite salmon sashimi, they were sliced very thick, I love it because not every restaurant would give u thick slice of salmon sashimi so you get what you paid for. He also got me spicy salmon roll which is delicious! I will be back for more sushi.

I’ve only had takeout for their lunch specials. I’ve had their Chinese lunch a couple of times and they are decent. I normally come here when I’m too lazy to drive down to To-kai for their sushi lunch specials. Most of the time I can tolerate their sushi, other times it is a mistake. What can I expect from a cheap Chinese/Japanese takeout joint? My last time there for the 2 roll sushi lunch special, the spicy tuna was blecchh and they gave me an avocado roll instead of salmon avocado. That’s annoying. They do give you wonton noodles and I got a hot and sour soup and a 20oz soda for a little over $ 10. Also, the chef is really nice. If you want to enjoy this place, don’t get your hopes up. Take it for what it is. But I really don’t recommend this place for sushi unless maybe you are just really desperate for it.

I came here after work one day and the servie was good. I believe the Chef was the one who brought out my order. The staff was very pleasant, I love great service and it was decent. The food however was great. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice. They give a lot of food for the price. However they lose a star, because I ordered a combination platter and the only extra thing was an egg roll. NO fork and knife, NO fortune cookie, NO drink. Im confused, what what the actual combination? I paid for the rice, so I felt the meal was lacking. I also thought that when someone orders takeout, they should receive napkins and plastic utensils. None of that. Ill go back for takeout but that’s about all.

Very nice place, great sushi, decent prices, clean and comfortable. They have those awesome baby chair that clips to the table, so our son is comfortable while we are enjoying our sushi. Also the owner is very accomodating. My husband and I used to go all the way to Havertown just for a particular roll they do not make anywhere else, so the owner of Kum Lin started making it for us so now we do not have to commute so far for our favorite sushi.

My boyfriend and I were here just the other day and let me tell you, it was very interesting!!! First of all, we started out as the only patrons there, which should have been a red flag, We ordered and had our soup, which was fair… as we began eating our meal, another patron who came in and my bf both saw a shadow run across the floor! They both thought it might be a mouse, but weren’t really sure of what they had seen. At that time, we told the waitress that we thought we saw a mouse and she didn’t seem very surprised. A few minutes later, the mouse ran out into the middle of the restaurant and we were outta there!!! Health bureau has been made aware and we are never going back… You decide!!!

Relaxed atmosphere for Chinese in the Bluegrass Plaza, off Welsh. Nothing really to say about this place that makes it tremendously different than other good local Chinese, but the room and the service make it one of the nicer places to go in the Northeast as a family or otherwise. It’s always pretty quiet, too. The lunch special(which includes choice of main course, fried rice and soup) is also a steal at around $ 5, depending on your choice of dish. It’s served every day except Sunday, and you absolutely cannot go wrong with the Curry Chicken.
