Beautiful, hanger sized location in Fishtown. Friendly service and delicious coffee. I am in no way a coffee aficionado but I really enjoy their flavors. Would like to go back and try some of their food. The piece of sample scone I tried was yummy though!

I visited the lower Eastside Manhattan location A little while back and had an excellent experience there. I knew that when I came to Philadelphia on my next trip I wanted to visit their main location. I
had a perfect experience at this coffee shop yesterday afternoon. My espresso was excellently prepared. I used 1 raw sugar packet inside and mixed it immediately with a spoon cracking the crema and sweetening the shot simultaneously. My lovely wife ordered a cappuccino. It was delicious and served the perfect temperature with just the right amount of foam. They make an excellent espresso for their cappuccino and it really shows with all the flavor.
We did not eat on this trip but they do have a great menu. I’m hoping to return for a meal. It also looks like they have a crazy pizza oven in which I took a picture of and you will see posted.
The people who work here are great they’re very friendly they seem interested in explaining to you the process of their coffee.
I was impressed by this coffee shop I would say it’s up there with some of the best coffee shops. I have been on a coffee shop tour bender in the last two years and I probably visited about 80 coffee shops in total in that time. Most of the shops have been in Manhattan Brooklyn and New Jersey. it’s coffee shop easily ranks high within my top five.

Obviously offers the la colombe quality beans and caffeinated drinks all of us coffee fiends in Philadelphia come to expect from them. This location also offers delicious pastries, salads, sandwiches and more. The high ceilings, exposed wood and brick work go great with the sprawling amount of inviting space tied together by the modern furnishings.
As for my visit I ordered a regular iced latte as well as a financier. Latte was to la colombe quality as usual and the financier was one of the tastiest sweet treats I’ve had.

Simply excellent coffee. Simply excellent cold brew. You cannot go wrong! Amazing staff as well so highly recommended.

Excellent place to buy fresh roasted whole coffee beans by the bag or in large bulk orders. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was looking for special coffee flavor and this place delivered. It also provided excellent service and value, in an open and sunny venue. The pastries didn’t match the coffee but that was the only criticism if any, can’t wait to go back.

I am giving 5 stars not so much to the coffee shop (which is about 3.5 stars) but to the FABULOUS customer service we got from Nicolas Capes at the MAIN site of La Colombe.
You see, we wanted to have individually wrapped foil pouches of coffee as wedding favors for our June 2008 nuptuals. DiBruno Brother’s couldn;t help us. Neither could Dunkin Donuts, nor Cappriccio (though the manager tried).
The coffee favors available on «wedding» websites as favors is sub-​par pre-​bagged swill.
We wanted QUALITY — and with La Colombe — our guests got it — for reasonable coin, too.
We ordered a case (96 pouches) of the house blend and bagged each pouch in a cute little tulle bag, and added a Yankee Candle «buttercream» votive. Between the coffe and the cream — our closet smelled heavenly.
The coffee favors were a huge hit and La Colombe is the ONLY Philly coffee place to come through for us.
