I live in Philly and had a Same Day Delivery with Amazon. I waited all day then it said they couldnt deliver my package. I called Amazon they said they would try 3 times in one day to deliver it I waited and nothing. It took 2 days and them transferring it to Fedex to deliver my package. What a waste and scam these people need to be shut down.

Day 1 — Called regarding a missing one day Amazon Prime delivery. After waiting on hold for 17 minutes, I was told that the package was at the warehouse but that the driver did not show up for his route and that the package would be delivered one day late. Not a big deal.
Day 2 — called regarding the same package. Waited on hold for 14 minutes to be told that the package was now lost. Sounds suspiciously like the missing driver wanted a free package. Took 10 minutes more to connect me to Amazon who told me they have received countless complaints regarding this shipper. Hopefully their theft does not go unaccounted for and Amazon cancels what can surely be one of their only remaining contracts.

I generally shy from write reviews and even more so bad but people really need to know what they are getting into! Just a horrible company. I’ve ordered plenty of things through Amazon and they have almost always come through. If they didn’t I’d get a call or e-​mail wondering how to get the package to me next day. But laser ship told me I’d have my package at 8pm on same day service somehow arrived either around 4 or 6 (seems to be different on mobile vs computer) and no note left and here is the kicker, I was at home the entire time. I live in a Apartment complex in Mount airy district of Philadelphia. A same day shipping should be no problem when they have a hub north of downtown! It never has been with any other shipping companies! Even more they left no notice so I had to call this waste of space company and ask that I’d pick it up at the facility instead and that I wanted and explanation for why I got no notice. well they have no explanation other than I might have missed it (surprise and doubt it) and they said their Philadelphia location is closed (site states hours is 8 – 8 on Saturday that is actually referring to the costumer service line). I’m not happen with this and have filed a complaint with Amazon already. In the future if I see laser-​ship shipping I’ll cancel the order rather than pay to be inconvenienced by a third party. Amazon should drop this company.

Only one experience with this carrier, and it was a bad one. Paid for next day delivery of a package and it never arrived. Was marked as delivered and «signed for» by «LSRFRONTDOOR» at 3pm, then at 9:30pm at night the status updates with «Delay in Delivery Due to External Factors.» Keep in mind, the delivery location is a row home in west Philadelphia. No one in their right mind would leave a package at the front door.
When I called up, they still have no idea where my package is, and their best offer was to put in an investigation (which can take a day or so) and return the item to seller when they find it. It’s almost as if they don’t understand that an item is ordered «NEXT DAY» because it’s important…
In the future, I will immediately cancel any Amazon order that shows a LaserShip tracking number.

Do a google search of this «last mile» delivery outfit. There’s a Huff Post article about how they’re organized. They don’t hire any of their drivers. The drivers get paid pennies per delivery made and all the overhead of the vehicles/​gas/​Lasership attire, is on the driver.
We, as consumers, get this service as a result:
1) Driver fakes out the tracking systems (especially on Amazon) by stating a delivery was attempted when they were nowhere near our properties. They get paid for attempted deliveries, so they do this when they know they can’t get to us on the day the shipper has guaranteed (ie Amazon Prime 2 day shipping).
2) Driver leaves package outside homes/​buildings, rings bells and takes off and designates them delivered. In most cases, a package left this way is not going to be there when people get home from work. Driver gets paid. Consumer is left to contact the shipper to receive a refund and/​or replacement.
Instead of what the USPS, FEDEX, and UPS drivers do:
— Ring our bells, place our packages in our safe entryways, leave physical notices of attempted deliveries, actually talk to someone via their building callbox to be sure they’re aware their package is being left.
Like everyone else who signed up for Amazon Prime, we did so for the convenience. The shipping contract that Amazon and other retailers have with Lasership is very inconvenient for all of us. Its also inconvenient for their drivers as it results in a blatent disregard for customer service because they’re working on per delivery commission to scrape together an income.
Unfortunately there is no way to choose your carrier via Amazon Prime. A big part of their revenue is maintaining that the volume of shipments via outfits like Lasership still yields a profit on the $ 99/​year Prime membership fee.
The only thing to do is to sever ties with Amazon by cancelling your Prime membership.

I am not one to write bad reviews, but lasership has been the biggest disappointment. I ordered a package from Amazon that was same day shipping and wasted an entire day sitting at home waiting for my package… They said it would arrive between 12 – 8. All of a sudden I check my phone and Amazon sent me an update that delivery was attempted… I ran downstairs n checked my front door, which had no notice AND checked my doorbel to make sure it was working, which it was. (I don’t live in a gated community either where there would be difficulty delivering my package.) Today is now the next day and I still keep getting the run around… I am honestly so frustrated and tired of wasting my time waiting around. I’m a frequent online shopper and have never experienced this bad of service, I am absolutely infuriated.

«Out for delivery» 3 days in a row? At 6pm? Seriously???
Was promised to be delivered on ³⁄₁₂.
Tracking package, I see that it’s at their facility 40 miles from my house on ³⁄₁₁. Looking good!
Yet somehow it never leaves the facility and is finally delivered on ³⁄₁₇ — 5 days late.
Contacted their service dept and a day later got a simple «we’re sorry» email. No other explanation or idea when it would be delivered.
