First let me say; I have a VERY low threshold for pain… VERY LOW!!.
Dr. Parris, is one of the «BEST» dentist in Philadelphia. He, and his wife Caral are very caring people. He tries to save your teeth.
Each time my dentist; Dr. Bill Mestichelli, on South Broad Street sent me to have a root canal done… Dr. Parris did EVERYTHING possible to make «ME» comfortable… EVERYTHING!!! The first time, I had swelling, but the next root canal… I HAD «NO PAIN», OR SWELLING.
I had a problem last week, and called Dr. Parris. I explained to him… I no longer have dental insurance, but he did not turn me away. He said; «I CAN’T HELP YOU, UNLESS YOU COME IN». He never mentioned money.
He cares, and does not want you to be in pain…“IF ANYONE EXPECTS A DENTAL VISIT TO BE PAIN FREE”. I have a boat to sell you…

One day my boyfriend started to have a horrible, debilitating toothache that needed to be checked ASAP. He didn’t have a regular dentist and it was Sunday. I needed to find a dentist FAST.
Google yielded a result that was attractive:
Not only did they advertise 24⁄7 operating hours, but they were local. I was able to drive there in a few minutes.
Dr. Parris is one of the dentists that we’ve seen here. He was able to diagnose the problem and prescribe some painkillers and we arranged subsequent visits. I was charged a flat fee of $ 200 but it covered the next 2 visits as well.
We were thankful that this doctor was able to help my boyfriend, but the website advertised that most visits were painless and this doctor was an expert on pain medication. However, I heard that after injecting novacaine in one of the visits, the doctor did not wait for it to take effect before going to work. My boyfriend says he made it very clear that he was in a lot of pain.
I will give this dentist 3 stars for running this 24⁄7 center, but there are better dentists out there.
