DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I wish I would have read the reviews before I did. The fan on my car was still running when I turned it off so I brought it to Liberty and consulted with a mechanic there before even deciding to drop it off. He had mentioned that it was likely to be the anti-​freeze that was low and so they could check that for me. When I spoke to the (very unfriendly) woman at the office to schedule I asked her how much it would be. She indicated that she had no idea, but that she would call me BEFORE anything was done to inform me of the cost. She called me a few hours later saying that a full diagnostic test was run, nothing was wrong, and I had to pay $ 70. I was confused and angry as I did not want a diagnostic test run (as I had just gotten my car checked out a couple of weeks prior), I had only asked for the antifreeze. When I went over to speak to the owner about being charged for a service I DID NOT WANT he was rude, unapologetic, argumentative and somehow offended that I had wasted his time… despite NOT ASKING for the service… It was impossible to reason with the man and explain my side.
Completely unprofessional, rude crooks who just want your money.

The guys at Liberty were very easy to work with. I found them to be approachable, honest, and organized. I took my car there for a mandatory safety inspection and emissions test following my out-​of-​state registration. The service was quick and they performed a thorough job. I am pleased with the overall price and was not pressured into making any large, unexpected repairs.

I went to Liberty for my inspections for two years. The first year I had an old car and my inspection was around $ 400 for everything that needed to be fixed. I didnt get a second opinion because I considered the car on its last leg so that made sense to me.
This year I sold that car and bought a newer one. Certainly not right off the lot but it was in good condition. This time they quoted me at almost $ 600 for repairs. Of course the repairs they said I needed, I had no idea what they meant. So I decided to get a second opinion… The second opinion told me I ONLY needed new wind shield wipers. The whole thing only cost me $ 10. I saved more than $ 500 by NOT trusting Liberty Service Center. This was 6 months ago and the car has not had any issues!
I hate to think I could have saved the first $ 400.
If you risk it and go there and they tell you you need expensive repairs PLEASE get a second opinion! My $ 500 is much better off in my bank account than in theirs!

I went there a year ago to get an inspection. Before I get an inspection I always check my headlights and turn signals to make sure they are working. I don’t know everything about cars, but I know enough to check these before getting an inspection. Sure enough when I drop it off to Liberty they call saying that my rear light is out and needs to be replaced. I had just checked it myself 30 mins ago. It’s highly unlikely that the light went out during my drive to their shop. They fucked me over. I paid. I moved on.
Earlier this year I went back to liberty (my mistake) for a repair and I was told one price on the phone before I okayed the work (not an estimate, but the actual price with tax and everything). When I arrived the price went up over $ 100. No explanation. No apology. No reason.
Would not recommend to anyone. Ever. At all.

Great guys, great service, reasonably priced. Every time I’ve had an issue with my car they’ve taken care of it expediently and well. Not only that, they have price checked against other shops in the area so I could make a well-​informed decision about what to do.

Did all 4 brake pads for just over ½ the cost I was expecting. Fixed the steering with a quick belt change and tighten (after another garage had told us the struts needed replacing) and finally found another small issue that had been causing some odd noises — despite me forgetting to mention it when dropping the car off.
Called me to confirm before starting any work, and again when the car was ready.
That was two months ago, and the car’s been flawless. Very happy!

This place was recommended by a friend who’s been taking his car here for years. I’ve been taking my Honda here for a year now and I couldn’t be happier. They’re incredibly polite and professional to deal with. They come across as genuine and honest. They’ll recommend standard maintenance as you put mileage on your car, but they’re not pushy or sleazy about it. I do put a lot of mileage on my car, so I trust that when they say I need something, I need it. They also don’t opportunistically look for things to fix, which I’ve had happen in the past. For instance, I just got my car inspected, and they said everything looks fine, and just charged me for the inspection.

I think I found a place I can trust…
Stopped over to get my inspection completed, and to also ask about an issue I was having with steering. I was expecting a big bill and a lot of investigation. The guys there were great, they suggested that I start with the most likely problem before spending a lot of money to inspect other things and perform services I «thought» I needed. They were right.
Love when someone who knows what they are talking about helps me help myself.

Go here– excellent service, honesty, quality work, decent prices.
The guys here will not lie to you, will quickly tell you if you need or do not need work, and they will do the work well.

Not sure why it has taken me so long to write this review and I feel all the more guilty seeing the business has not yet even been added.
I have been taking my two vehicles, a pick up I use for work and a sedan I use for putzing around, to Dan for over a year now. Before I used a variety of garages, pretty much whoever was closest when my previous pick up broke down as it often did.
I put a lot of mileage on my truck and I really wanted to find a good honest mechanic who could help me maintain it so I wouldn’t have to replace too soon. I have always had an underlying mistrust of mechanics but the first time I met Dan it felt right. He is not the cheapest guy in town thats for sure but he is always helpful in explaining the recommended work and working with you.
