Popped in here for a quick mani/​pedi before a doctors appointment at Rothman. Great pedicure! Ladies are so sweet and professional. I’ll be back!

I came here for a manicure. Their English isn’t very good so it’s kind of hard to understand just fyi. We waited 30 min. It was ok… I probably won’t be back.

Lily and her staff are friendly, upbeat and make great recommendations for nail ideas. I first stumbled upon this place bc it was close to work (went for years close to my home) but now I make Lilly’s place my only salon. They have a great variety of colors and if you are looking for a specific unique color lily makes sure to get it if she doesn’t have it already. If you are a regular you get your own box of tools which makes you feel VIP and then your tools are specific to you each time! She even has polish that changes colors when you are hot/​cold!

Went in for a quick polish change on my toes during lunch time. Was «greeted» by a woman towards the front. Her demeanor wasn’t very friendly, but no big deal as I NEEDED my toes done.
It wasn’t very crowded, but I ended up waiting in the chair almost 30 minutes before anyone started on my polish change. The woman in the chair next to me (who seemed to have been waiting a while before I even got there) left abruptly, stating that she had waited too long. After she left, I told the woman at the front that I needed to be out the door in twenty minutes. Only then did they acknowledge me.
Came out with unevenly cut toes and a poor paint job. I don’t recommend and I won’t be back.

Came here on recommendation from a friend… great place to go. The owner, Lily, is the one who did my nails, and she took the time to make sure she understood what I wanted and even made sure I was 100% happy with it before I left. Prices are about the same as your average nail place in Philadelphia, so not super expensive and worth it too. The technicians make you feel comfortable instead of as though you’re being talked about. Will definitely return!

Lisa waxed my legs for me. She was very thorough. I called ahead and asked to come in and they took me five minutes later. Good prices. I’d go back. They take cards but tip is cash only. There is an ATM inside though.

I had a gel manicure as a walk in today. The staff was friendly and accommodating with more gel color options than most salons. I will definitely be back for a pedicure

GO TO LILY’S !! she’s awesome. the gel mani ?? classic &professional. and the options are plentiful :) the spa pedi ?? luxurious &relaxing. wax area/​jobs ?? clean &clean. imma threader, but went back to waxing my brows b/​c she does sucha great job. the staff ?? very friendly &funny. located in the heart of center city, this is my go-​to nail salon. i’ve never encountered a problem w/​having to schedule an appt, but i’m sure her business will pick up tremendously in the coming weeks, and my special walk-​in VIP treatment will be no longer *sighs*. Anywhooo, all goes to say, the shop’s great. AND SHE’S SUPER REA$ONABLE for all her services. to date, i dont have any complaints; i’m telling you, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED !!

I am currently on a spree to find the best places to head to for a good manicure and pedicure that’s within the walkable Old City neighborhood! Just last week I stumbled upon Lily’s Nails on Chestnut in the middle of the noon almost empty. I must say it was the most relaxing mani & pedi session I have ever been too and I have experimented with quiet a lot both in US and outside!
I usually find it very annoying when I get to a spa/​salon and am attended by noisy staff who keep chattering throughout the session. The whole setting is very standard but neat and today, relaxing with a small cave area for each mani & pedi session, comfy massage seats, and friendly staff!
Love Vanessa and Kat’s job on my gel mani/​pedi and brow waxing. Prices are reasonable and overall experience was more than satisfying.
