I’ve been coming here since I was 13 years old. I used to only ever so to a stylist named Joanne. She was extremely talented, and I recommended everyone to her. Unfortunately she moved and I was heartbroken. I still went back hoping I could find another version of her.
There was a young guy who cut my hair, I forget what his name was. His station is on the right hand side (if that helps). Yes had a belt where he carried all of his combs and stuff. Regardless, he’s fantastic.
I recently went back and he wasn’t there :(Tammy took care of me. I just needed and a trim. Here, a trim means a trim and only an inch gets cut. I still had my length and perfect curls.
What’s better than their crazy talented stylists? The shampoos. It’s a head massage and an amazing cleaning all in one. If I could just go to have them shampoo my hair everyday, I would!
This is a hidden gem in Philadelphia. They understand hair and I always walk out with what I asked for.

Had my girlfriend shampooed her hair and sat there waiting for an hour… then asked her to wait another hour for the haircut… these guys claimed that they don’t take appointment, yet those who came in after us had their service provided first… WTH?

Haircuts here are reasonably priced.
the ambiance is loud and obnoxious but i come back because of Joanne
She is the best hairstylist in Philadelphia. she makes getting a haircut worthwhile!!!
parking is HELL be prepared to have a tough time

I’ve been going here to get my haircut for also 6 years now and never did I come out of the salon unsatisfied. I love this place. Ask for Huy, he’s a pro.
