It was a total fluke that I even stopped at this truck at the StrEAT Food Festival only because I’m not huge into sweets at events like this. Don’t get me wrong, I like my cookies every now and again but that wasn’t what I was looking for on this day. I saw the truck said«Bakery» and I kept strolling on by, but it was the biscuits in the bakery cabinet window that made me say WAIT A SECOND, and I reversed right on back! I immediately ran over to the menu board and saw them listed as Sage and Swiss biscuits and they even came with a wildflower honey drizzle. Uhhh I will take all your biscuits pls and thankyou. I don’t think I was ever so pumped to eat a biscuit before and it was deeeeelicious! I was nice enough to let my friends have a nibble and they loved it too! The honey was the perfect compliment to add that touch of sweetness without totally overpowering it. Jamie was super nice and service was very quick. The bakery window really was a nice touch on the truck — I would’ve totally not even stopped if it weren’t for that window! I know being a new truck and a big festival there weren’t too many menu options and the others I believe were all sweets. Def will keep my eyes peeled for this truck in the future and see what other savory type dishes she has in the future!

holy moly… First things first, I’ve had their breakfast sandwich before, and honestly, it is one of the best I’ve ever had. Amazing biscuit, the sauce they put on that thing is just heaven and everything else blends together like a perfect symphony. With that being said, I went there today wanting a pastry. The nice lady recommended the Irish Apple Cake(I believe that was the name), well needless to say, that prompted me to write this review before my day took over and I forgot. Absolutely amazing. Not too sweet… just right! The glaze is perfect, the cake has a tone of moisture with yummy notes of sour cream and chunks of apple here and there. I’m a happy camper. So far Luscious has been the only food truck that is consistently good in my opinion and not a disappointment!

Ehrmergerd! Best food truck in the city! Luscious Bakery is killing it! It’s like a brunch and dessert café on wheels! Hands down the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever had. Also make sure you try their breakfast sandwiches on a homemade buttermilk biscuit. Everything I have tried from this truck has been excellent. Highly recommend

Yummy goodness on wheels. Had the Irish apple pudding & coffee at Love Park. Loving that upgraded vendors like this have taken to setting up shop there. The coffee was actually tasty also. Win. Win.

I woke up this morning and knew I needed a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I stumbled out of bed, got myself together, and finally out the door for the office. As I approached the office, I began to turn over the list of spots to acquire my hangover helper. Cutting through Love Park, I saw the Luscious Bakery food truck, quickly scanned the menu and decided this was to be my savior. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and when they pointed out it could be served on the homemade biscuit, there was no doubt in my mind I struck gold. The sandwich was freshly made which took a little extra time but was entirely worth it. Every single bite was even more glorious than the last helping to right my wronged world. If you see this truck and are not in a rush, stop by, say hi, and treat yourself to a great sandwich.

I may be partial because I am quite close with Jamie, but I know good food when I see it — whether they’re made by my friend or not. Luscious offers such an eclectic array of options everyday, from sweet to salty to savory and anywhere in between. Having a full-size convection oven on-board allows her to bake up fresh cookies, biscuits, tarts, etc. while you wait, so that your food is fresh and piping hot even on the coldest of days(which she will never shy away from!). Her hours vary from day to day, as does her location, but she is always somewhere in or around Philly for you to find and enjoy. She also caters, so keep Luscious in mind for your next event!

I’m usually motivated to write reviews when I have a bad experience as to warn others. However, I had such a good experience with this food truck that I just had to share because I don’t know how this truck isn’t more well known. I was visiting a friend at Drexel and got off at 30th street station. I rode over straight from work and didn’t have a chance to eat. I saw the luscious bakery truck and figured I would have to settle for a quick donut. I was blown away when I actually looked at the menu. This place is like a full on artisan bakery on wheels serving up sweet and savory treats with equal measure. After much debate, I decided on a spinach and artichoke quiche and a warm baked cookie. I was literally blown away by the quality of this food and the warm organic demeanor of the staff. The quiche was perfectly executed with delicious flavors and a crispy yet flaky crust. It was probably all I needed but the cookie was irresistible. I don’t remember the name of it but it was deliciously sweet with a touch of sea salt to make it truly delectable. I was really impressed by my experience and will be keeping an eye out for this mobile purveyor of culinary nirvana.

Oh, my walking through Love Park again led me to another truck. I was being so good and walked past it too, but then, I turned back around and wanted to try it. Stared at the menu for a lil bit, and then stared at their bakery case. The spinach and artichoke quiche looked and sounded good, so that’s what I ordered. I waited a short time for it because they said they were heating it up. Ok, cool, right? Well, my work is only a block away and when I got there and took my first bite, it was ice cold! :-(Not room temp, but like refridgerated cold. Weird… I heated in the microwave and ate a few more bites. Now, the flavor was just ok. It was a tad salty. Some parts more saltier than others that it really took me for surprise. Not sure if they didn’t mix the salt in well enough or something, but it wasn’t balanced. The crust wasn’t as flaky as I like a crust. More on the soft side. Maybe because I had to microwave it? I also felt the price they charged for it was a bit high. The picture I posted may look big, but it’s probably only about 2 inches. I don’t think I would be back if I saw it again anywhere. The workers were fast and nice, but I think they need work on the quiche.
