This is a big secret for $ 10. These barbers are fast and good. There are 4 of them so no waiting! Or very little waiting. They have a big screen TV that normally is playing sports. They can do all the new cuts. Regular cuts $ 10. With Scissors $ 15. Check the website — even a shampoo & cut is amazingly inexpensive

One of the best barbershops in university city for a very good price. I’ve had a different barber there every time and none have disappointed. Unless you only get a scissor cut, it costs $ 15 and a $ 1 – 2 tip should do it.

This place is incredible. It’s very clean and the barbers use a combination of machine and scissors. My cut was very short with some texture to the top. It’s exactly what I wanted.

They have recently increased their prices but still Makkah market barber shop is one of the most affordable and no fuss barber shops in the area. Haircut costs $ 15 and there isn’t much of a wait as there are three barbers working at most times. The longest I have ever had to wait has been 15 minutes. Shave with a trimmer costs an additional $ 5 but is cheaper than other barber shops. They are open at convenient hours and the service is great.

10 Dollar Haircut w/​clippers
15 Dollar Haircut w/​scissors
Can’t beat the price and excellent service with many many years of experience. The store is open 10am-​7pm every day and you can count on them for a consistent hair cut. Certainly for the price, this can’t be beat. Chinatown has a few spots for 10 bucks, but good luck getting a haircut you are happy with. Highly recommend this spot and you can get a pretty amazing cheesesteak in the market below the barber shop (which is open 24 hours) and based on some of the other Unilocalers reviews, also have amazing 1 dollar samosas. Can’t wait to try those myself!!! haha
