Massage Is The Remedy

I had a great hour long massage here. I will say I was very skeptical after google mapping the address and seeing that it was in a house. A fleeting thought in my head wondered if my organs where soon to see the black market. But luckily that wasn’t an issue.
Showed up to the side door wondering how this all was going to work. After knocking I was let in by a really nice woman into a small basement. Was a bit turned off by the clutter in certain areas, but it was a home business so I let it slide. I appreciate black folks on their business game. She went through all the usual pre-​massage consultation talk after I filled out the info sheet and tried to get me as comfortable as possible. She offered me water which I always appreciate. She then told me to strip and gave me a few minutes of privacy by closing the partition she had up. The space was warm and while a bit weird to change with only a partition (thankfully not some tacky cheap shower curtain thing but a legit partition), I quickly did the deed and hopped on the massage table.
Oooohhh so nice. I seriously appreciate the warmed massage tables. It was so soothing and nice and waaaarrrmmmm. I was already getting into my comfort zone. She came in when I announced that I was ready and got to work. She played very relaxing music and used some sort of massaging oil (would have been nicer if it had been warmed other than the friction of her hands) and started working the kinks out of my body.
It was my second full body massage and it was seriously good. She worked me out and I was sad to see the hour go. I was almost at sleep level when she let me know it was over. She applied good pressure throughout and really got into the places that she noticed where tense.
She gave me post-​massage advice, which is always welcomed, and was very very communicable and I appreciated her overall thoroughness.
*They’ve moved locations from where I had my massage, so I don’t know about the atmosphere of the new place. But the massage therapist was fantastic.*
