McKeown’s Plaza was sold and the superette/deli was closed in 2004. The beer distributor was sold shortly after. The family has since moved from the area. Now only the memories and the name remain!

Great service and good prices. The craft beer selection is pretty thin but it’s a Bud Light neighborhood.

So this liquor store may not be in the best plaza, but it is a gold mine! The place is well stocked, there is always a sale on moscato, vodka and tequila! Any place that has my stash and at a good price is fine by me. Customer service is great, and there’s always parking.

Absolutely horrible. If you’re looking for a craft beer, look elsewhere. The craft beer section is very small and has maybe 15 different beers to choose from. That in itself was disappointing but okay, you can never go wrong with Dogfish Head 60 Min, right? But then, on the next shelf over is a case of Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin. In June? There’s no way they would be brewing it already so I checked the case for a date and found«freshest by March 112012». That made me a bit skeptical so I checks for dates on a bunch of other cases and, with the exception of PBC and Yards, more than half were several months past their expiration. If you’re looking for Coors or Bud you’re probably fine, but don’t expect fresh craft beer.
