Ordered vodka rigatoni and my order came and it was literally marinara sauce. So I called and complained and they said their vodka sauce is only marinara and then they just add some vodka … Don’t get vodka sauce… It’s not vodka sauce. Very odd, a vodka sauce is supposed to have cream in it. Continued eating the«vodka rigatoni» and i noticed that I could literally taste vodka in the sauce, it was a very strong taste. I let three people taste it and they all agreed. Very unsatisfied. I mean the place is more of a sandwich place but if you’re going to offer pasta you need to know how to make it. On the other hand, I got a side of meatballs and they were great.

These guys are awesome! I just moved to Philadelphia recently and decided to walk over to this place to try it out. I got there and everyone was very friendly and talkative. I ordered my hoagie… this things huge btw… But when I went to pay my new card declined. They let me slide this time, but that ensured me coming back and making up for it. Thanks guys. The sandwich is delicious too. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

It’s ok. The hogies here are exactly what you would expect. The burgers and fries are not very good, but I wouldn’t really expect a good burger from a deli. Ordering delivery is hit or miss. The estimate is 45 minutes to an hour, but the range in my experience is actually 30 minutes to an hour and a half. If you are going to the deli for pick up, then you will probably be happy. If you are looking for a deli for delivery, I would look elsewhere.

So much praise for this place. Not only is their food consistent and delicious, but they really, really do a great job with making sure every order is made just as requested, which is something very important, I feel. We have definitely added this to our list of favorites.

I’m visiting from Florida and found this place online. Boy, was I surprised when our food was delivered! Huge sandwiches, full of meat and toppings, chicken cutlet was so good! I highly recommend them. The delivery was fast too.

One of the most underrated delis in Philly. Terrific hoagie and always good people working there. Hoagie, chips and soda for under $ 10 can’t beat it.

A sandwich from Mi-Pals Deli is exactly what you should expect from south philly… FABULOUS!!! My personal favorite is the MiPals Italian and the chicken cutlet too!!! My mom’s work place often has lunch catered by Mi-Pals and they always enjoy it! Thats what keeps people going back for more! They use the freshest meats and most delicious bread!!!

I went to Mi Pal’s for the first time since living in South Philly last week and was completely blown away. My friends were in the mood for breakfast so they got egg sandwiches and wraps which were super reasonably priced and HUGE. I’m talking less than $ 5 for like a 15 inch hoagie. I ordered chicken cutlet with broccoli rabe, sharp provolone, roasted red peppers and mayo. It was awesome! I think it was called the chicken cutlet italian or something like that. It made for TWO meals. I will be remembering how awesome Mi Pals is next time I need a hoagie!

My father always told me how good their Prosciutto and Sharp Provolone sandwich was. He said he would take it over any sandwich in Primo’s any day. I thought the man was crazy. Needless to say, I will be going to Mi Pal’s Deli instead of Primo’s. I had one last week and it was unbelievable. Like usual, my dad was right. When will I learn? If you haven’t tried Mi Pal’s, please do yourself and you taste buds a favor and do so right away. They might just be South Philly’s most underrated deli!

Give me MiPals over Primos any day. Sitting on an unassuming corner of 16th and Wolf, this place has some legit hoagies. I got the Mi Pals Chicken Steak which came with chicken, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers, and sharp provolone. Perfect ratio of each so that nothing was overpowering. Hubby got the Italian with prosciutto. Also excellent. I also got some of their Seafood Salad. Some of the best I’ve had in Philadelphia. I hate almost the half pound in one sitting; I have no regrets. The place also sells pantry items, dairy, and plenty of snack foods.

This place has amazing hoagies. Fresh, sesame seed rolls, sharp provolone that is very thinly sliced, chicken cutlets that are obviously homemade and hand-breaded, and an amazing selection. It’s also a plus that it gets to my house for lunch in 30 minutes. This is definitely my go to place for hoagie delivery in South Philly.
