My first impression of this place was curiosity. I’m always interested in quirky furniture, especially when I went on their website and saw the bubble rock sofa. My second impression was«I’m not going to waste my time.» Google is a very powerful tool. You see something you like, Google it and take it from there. Quality, price, location checks all within seconds. I Googled them and what they carry. Their stuff is expensive just like the previous reviewer said. No shock there. And I also found it elsewhere just like the previous reviewer said. So really, I might have just wanted to see the thing in person and see how much it looked like The Blob. And maybe put it in the memory vault as «something for when I settle down and buy a home.» OR, just something to see and then shop around. The couch is cool no doubt! Actually the entire Bubble Rock line is really cool! But even if I were to splurge, I wouldn’t buy it here. I’d get it online from Living Devani, or if I had to pick up, I’d drive to New York. I happened to be around there during a concert at AKA and they were closed. I had honestly forgotten about this place because how often do you really go furniture shopping? I was however a bit stoked to remember it and possibly SEE it. So imagine how disappointed I was when standing there on a sidewalk waiting around after the show with a bunch of people and whatnot and someone walks up to the door and tells me, tells, not asks, something along the lines of «Could you get out of the way? This is a place of business not a hangout, and you could be blocking customers.» And that’s how you lose a possible sale. Good job lady. I thank this place for introducing me to Living Devani. Definitely cool stuff. Definitely something I would buy for my dream home.(Which as of right now, I am stock piling stuff for bit by bit.) But I can’t forgive unnecessary crassness. This is the modern world. People have more than one credit card. People don’t like to flaunt what they can get or have as well. That’s a very important thing to remember. You never know who someone is or will be, nor what they have and want, so it’s best to be respectful to all.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Philadelphia, PA
Beautiful modern/super fancy furniture. If you see something in Dwell or Metropolis and want to see it in person, go here. Minus one star because the shipping costs an arm and a leg. In fact, I found a website in Seattle willing to ship a desk to Philly for free(and tax free), while Minima was going to charge $ 375+ tax. Why would I buy something locally only to pay that much shipping? It doesn’t make sense.
