for a punk music-centric shop there just aren’t enough punk records there, in my opinion. that being said, the owner is a wonderful, tremendous, friendly, funny guy.

Relatively small but well curated selection, well organized. Good prices.

I think this place had the same cds and vinyl since I started to shop there in early 2000s. Decent prices, but not anything worthwhile is there.

Definitely a fan ~ well lit, well organized and the owner is a nice, knowledgeable fellow. I like to stop in every few months. Sometimes: paydirt. Sometimes, not, but it’s always relaxing to just flip through the vinyl and the price is always right.

Decent selection of used punk CDs and related merchandise. If I’m not mistaken they also sell tickets to local events such as Dracula’s Ball. A friend and I came by here on a whim because he still buys CDs(whereas I’ve resorted to iTunes for pretty much all my music – unless what I’m looking for is not available on there) and wanted to see what he could find. However, since like all used music stores, the selection changes, I’d come back in and check it out again.

Primarily catering to the punk scene, what’s great about Noise Pollution is that the owner knows that limiting himself too much is just stupid. So there’s a fair share of pop rock stuff available as well. His prices are a bit«1997» if you know what I mean — they’re way too high for the music market of 2008. For instance he has a wall of CD singles priced at around $ 9.99 each, most of which you could get on ebay for a dollar. On the other hand, he’s a decent and friendly guy and a family man to boot, and he’s willing to barter within reason. I’ve walked out of here with a Madonna import in one hand and a Jay Reatard CD in the other, so that shows you the variety. It’s worth coming in and taking a half an hour to snoop around; it’s pretty clean and very organized. Give Noise Pollution a chance!

This place has an pretty decent vinyl selection, and an ok cd collection. I haven’t been there in a long time. Good for Punk Rock stuff. I remember getting a Smothers Brothers record in the discount bin there.
