Let us briefly discuss the unity of opposites. Heraclitus(a Greek philosopher from before the days of Socrates) stated that everything has an opposite. No day without night. No summer without winter. No good without bad. No PA Ridge Associates LP without Adelphia House/PMC Property[1]. One can only appreciate how amazing something is after they’ve dealt with something awful. Otherwise, one would just assume that an amazing thing is a normal thing as opposed to an extraordinary thing. But now I’m probably confusing you, so I’ll attempt an analogy: If Adelphia House/PMC Property Group is Lucifer’s rectum after he ate Mexican food, PA Ridge Associates LP would then be Christina Hendricks’ heaving bosom after she bathed in your favorite smelling flowers; lilies or something. Going into too much detail about the excellent leasing agents might lead to people abusing their generosity and flexibility. Instead I will just give an example. After we(I and a friend who is also an Adelphia House survivor) signed the lease, she actually asked us, «did you need any furniture? I can get you some if you need them. I’ve left you guys [insert various furniture here] but if you don’t want them, I’ll take them out.» Excuse me, what? Did you just offer to do something beyond what you are required to do? We stuttered like a couple of teenagers who had just watched our first porno because we didn’t know how to deal with such… professionalism, courtesy, sincerity! And I have other stories, and it’s just the beginning of a beautiful new relationship. The apartment complex is maintained beautifully, yet is so unassuming from the outside. I’m pretty sure most people aren’t even aware of it because it’s surrounded by the rundown buildings just across from Chinatown. The units are gorgeous. I feel like a metrosexual every time I walk into my new home. That might seem like an exaggeration but they really are some beautiful rental units when considering the cost. I didn’t even know they made apartments where the walls are painted anything other than white. My room is a soothing blue. The neighbors are quiet, considerate and don’t behave like degenerates. I don’t want to ever leave. These are tears of joy, I promise! And of course, I can only appreciate the tears of joy after dealing with the bitter ulcers that I got from Adelphia House.
