Parkway Garage 12th and Filbert

Great place to park for City Hall or the Reading Terminal Market. You can enter on 13^th or 12^th. If you are going to City Hall, park near the 13^th St side, hit the the Starbucks in the Courtyard by Marriott, and head to City Hall. If you are going to the market, park on the 12^th Street side, and you are right across the street from the entrance.
There are elevators at both ends. Parking can run as much as $ 29. If you go to the market, two hours of parking is $ 4 as long as you spend $ 10 and get your parking ticket validated by a merchant.

If you are dining at the Melting pot park here and have them validate your ticket parking will cost $ 8!!!

This is one of the two $ 4 parking garages for Reading Terminal Market. It is right across the street from the market, so it’s really convenient. We have probably used this garage a handful of times without issue.
Last weekend we went to RTM for lunch and had our garage ticket validated for the discounted garage price through Little Thai. Perhaps Little Thai’s particular machine is broken, but the payment kiosk charged us the full $ 29 instead. On our way out my husband asked the garage office person how to get a refund since our ticket was indeed validated. A point off for her, she said there’s nothing we could do since we already paid. She said if it happens again, don’t pay at the kiosk and drive down to the exit, and press the help button. My husband pressed further, and asked if the corporate office could help. She said maybe :)
We called the office right away after getting the phone number from the Parkway website. I spoke with a woman named Beth. She was very helpful and let us know we could email her an image of our receipts and she’d get send the refund request through to the appropriate customer service person on Monday (it was Friday around 4:30pm when I spoke with her). My husband was skeptical that they’d give us our refund.
This morning, the Monday after the RTM excursion, I got a call from Neil at Parkway. Like Beth, he was very helpful and friendly and the refund of $ 25 is going through.
Five stars for EXCELLENT customer service, it seems to be a rare thing in this day and age.
