Only trust them with inexpensive items for various reasons. Sometimes they don’t remove spots or spots appear on items, but they will redo it at no cost.
Inexpensive, parking, and good hours keep me coming back here until I find something better.
They also have a reasonably priced tailor that does good work.

Everytime you go there it’s an issue. Drop clothes off on Monday they tell you pick up on Thursday! Then you go to pick up on Saturday and it’s not done yet! Then they can’t understand why your pissed off!

Payless Cleaners is a very good dry cleaning place in South Philly. It is located in a shopping center off Oregon between 4th and 5th street. Parking is very open and easy here. This place is very affordable and their turn around time is pretty quick. I brought in 3 heavy coats and it was only $ 12 and I was able to retrieve them in the same week. There was a button missing from a coat that was already loose, but other then that it was a very pleasurable experience. I will definitely go back here for my dry cleaning needs.

This place rules… it is local, reasonably priced and provides quality service. I was paying waaaayyy more for equal or less service in No Libs! The staff are friendly and there is hardly ever a wait. I am very happy I found this place.

each article of clothing you get dry cleaned is at most $ 3
thank god i have my car so i can drive here, because all the places in my neighborhood are $ 5 – 6 per piece.

I get all my shirts cleaned here. I have not had problems with stains, however I have had a few buttons become brittle from when they press it. At $ 1 a shirt, they saved me more money than a few shirts. They are much less than competitors and for me, its worth the drive to get my shirts cleaned at 1⁄3 of the cost of my local cleaners.

WHAAAA? I have never had a bad experience with this place. I have been going for 7 – 8 yrs. Maybe because most of my clothes are darker in color and I never see stains, but my stuff always looks great, their done quick, and the prices are by far the lowest around. Everyone I turned on to this place is still a loyal customer. One girl lives in Jersey now and still brings her clothes to Payless.
You have to pay upfront, but who cares? It is a fraction of the other places.

I used to take my clothes here because they are cheap. $ 1 per item, and slightly more for a tie, if I remember correctly. Not a bad deal. But like everything else, you get what you pay for. This place has stained at least 3 of my shirts to the point that I can no longer wear them and completely lost one. They also left a stain on my very favorite shirt — it was in a discreet spot, but still, what the hell is that?

I have to say, paying the fee before picking up your clothes is weird. But then, I suppose the business has had rough time with bad customers. The price is cheap and alteration jobs are decent. But laundering service for shirt is okay.
