Good atmosphere, excellent chx tenders, and an nice outdoor scene. My only complaint is the beer selection. Standard beers: Miller, coors, bud, corona, and blue moon. Only craft beer they had was Dogfish 60 min. 1st time I’ve been here, and we sat outside, so I can’t comment on the indoor area. Overall, a solid place, that I would def return to.

So my review is based kinda on my taste. This bar is pretty wild that circles around a mechanical bull and the workers wear assless chaps. The drinks are fair pricing but it did seem to get a bit crowded and rowdy where a few people bumped into me and spilled my drink. This would be more my style bar maybe 5 years ago when I was in college and getting crazy. Cool place nonetheless, just not my cup of tea

I was actually pretty pumped to check out PBR Bar due to my recent infatuation with all things country. And when I heard that 92.5 broadcasts at PBR on Friday evenings, I was even more excited. Throw in a mechanical bull and some pretty young things dancing around in chaps and you could say my interest level was at a ten. Our group walked in and sidled up to the bar for some refreshments. The bartenders were quick and friendly throughout the night. No complaints there. My main beef is that only one in every five songs or so was a country tune, while everything else they played was really clubby or top 40. The DJ took requests which he promptly ignored. Just say you don’t take requests and I’ll keep it moving! I did not notice anything indicating that 92.5 was there that night, either, even though PBR’s website has it on the events calendar. The bull riding provided loads of entertainment, though I didn’t partake myself. I’d consider returning if I happened to be at Xfinity before/after a game, but I definitely won’t go out of my way since it didn’t live up to the expectations of a self-proclaimed country bar.

I had lunch here today for the Eagles game. The place was packed but we went to the back bar and were served right away. Our server/bartender Foluke was so fun! I split the turkey and avocado wrap with a friend, and it was perfect. Great atmosphere for the game– ALMOST as good as being inside!

Such a fun environment. The staff is great and it’s always a good time at PBR. It’s a great place to pre game before events(games, concerts, etc) and party afterwards. Also, the bee sting wings are quite the treat!

Absolutely love the outdoor bar scene here, lots of seats and great service, plus an awesome view of the big screen. So great for nighttime philly sports! Plus the outdoor bar has frozen piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris, YUM! And the summer shandy is in season too which I love. Great place to relax and watch sports!

Slow service. They blame it on the new menu. It’s pulled pork. It should be made already. really. We just got more beers that we didn’t order. And we have been sitting for an hour waiting for food. Oh and our waiter is defiantly blazed. One plus is we are watching fat people fall off the mechanical bull while we slowly starve to death.

I’m not a complainer and generally like everything(especially food) but PBR was so bad, I feel I have to add my first«meh» review. Three fish tacos consisted of nasty fish, a lil shredded white lettuce and a couple cubes of tomato. That’s it! No flavor whatsoever — had to ask for hot sauce, of course. Cup of coleslaw on the side was only half-full, and that’s all I got for $ 9. Such a disappointment. Didn’t expect it to be great, was going to Wells Fargo and needed to eat something, but thought it would at least be decent. Would have been better off eating fries for dinner. Only bumped up to 2 stars because I liked the waitress.

My review is only on the atmosphere because it was after 12 on a Saturday when I wondered in(no food ordered). First, PBR defines where you bring a bachelor/ette party. There are half naked female dancers, booths for large groups and in the center is a mechanical bull. It’s perfect for a fun night without your significant other or if you’re single. There wasn’t much of a dance floor but since its in Xfinity it’s easy to go somewhere else if you decide this is not where you want to be. The worst parts of PBR is that it gets super crowded and is the main reason I didn’t even bother trying to grab a drink.

I’ll admit… I LOVED the mechanical bull and the girls dancing around the circle bar area. People get really into it and it’s a blast to have a show going on while you’re hanging out, dancing, and enjoying the music. That being said, the music is… well… what exactly are they going for? It goes from country to random pop to current viral music without any real good transition ever. If you love dancing, be prepared to stop at the end of a song mid-step to say«uh, how do I switch to dancing to *that* now??» It’s a bizarre mix. And the girls dancing? Some really love what they’re doing and get into it. Others, look bored out of their minds! Even if you’re only there to check out their bodies, the lack of enthusiasm can be distracting. I can’t vouch for the food because I haven’t tried any, but for entertainment value, it’s fun when the place is packed and there’s plenty of room to fit a lot of people in the place and still have room to move.

PBR Bar and Grill is the most crowded of the bars at Xfinity Live which in my mind makes it the last desirable to spend time in. The music is a strange mix of top 40 pop and top 40 country. There is a mechanical bull and it can be lots of fun to watch.

Okay, I’ll admit it: I’m a complete beer snob. I would rather pour Miller/Coors/Bud down the drain than take a big gulp of it. So, how did I end up here? Well, a friend of mine won a happy hour on a Saturday night a couple of weeks ago. From what we understood, the happy hour was for all drafts, but no. The only beers included in the happy hour were Miller Lite and Bud Lite. NOWAYINHELL that I would pay anyone to make me drink that horrible stuff that they mislabel as beer. What I ended up having to do all night is make trips over to the Victory Beer Hall to get a pint and then walk back over to the PBR Bar. The atmosphere was alright in there. It was very crowded and very hot! The bull riding is very entertaining if you can actually catch a glimpse of it. My 5’3 self had to stand up on a bench to even see. The scantily clad PBR ladies dancing on the tables around the bull-riding ring didn’t help either. Plus, around those ladies were hoards of men staring up at them like they were at a strip club. The music was pretty good. The DJ definitely threw a couple songs in for the ladies, like Nsync and BSB. But, he also threw some songs in where people just kinda stopped dancing altogether. All in all, this place is probably not made out for me and more aimed towards males, specifically in the college-aged range.

The music, the bull, the dancers, the drunks, the debauchery. Great place for a post-stadium-event rage fest. Drunk or sober, there is plenty of people watching to do. Xfinity executed this place pretty well, I just wish it was about twice the size because there is barely any room to walk around circular bar and there isn’t really a dance floor. With the music they blare out, there should really be a decent sized dance floor. They also need to do a better job of mopping up spills. I have been there on numerous occasions, between spilled drinks and rain, the floor gets soaked and very slippery. This is not a good thing when you want to rock out to some country jams and get your hoedown on! But overall, fun spot.

It’s pretty hard to come here and not have a good time. The main attraction is the mechanical bull and sometimes the workers will get on the bull and ride with you which is always funny. They play great music(country during the day and popular bar songs at night) but the only downside is there is no official dance floor. People just dance around the mechanical bull ring. There is a huge outdoor area with another bar and a fire pit which is great for when the weather is nice. I have eaten here a few times and I have gotten their chicken tacos. Surprisingly they were good and not greasy at all, which is what I was expecting. I also often get texts from the manager offering me happy hour specials for my friends although I have never taken them up on the offer.

I am pretty sure that I am not their target market nevertheless I am a paying customer and I kind of felt disengaged. The place is called PBR which is an acronym for Professional Bull Riding. Apparently there is usually a mechanical bull in the center but I went on a night to cheer on a friend who was Jello wrestling so instead of the bull there was a pool full of red liquid that was supposed to be jello but never firmed up. When I got there, it was a little earlier than the festivities and I snagged an awesome booth seat, right by the ring. There were no servers so each time I wanted a drink I had to go back to the bar. I honestly didn’t mind this arrangement because the one spot of light was the bar tender, Foluke. What a sweet personality. anyway… I was sitting at my booth spot, waiting for my friends to arrive when a girl came over to me and had to explain to me that the seat I was sitting in was fine for me to be in now but unless I and my party were going to spend a minimum of $ 200 I was not welcome to stay there once the festivities began. We were going to be a party of 3 and I felt pretty confident that none of us wanted to spent $ 70 each so I relinquished my seat and sat at the bar again. The place filled up and by the time the wrestling began it was impossible to see from the bar to the Jello ring so we relocated to the floor. I’ll pass another compliment. The PBR dancers are a bunch of attractive, scantily clad, women wearing chaps who will periodically jump up on available surfaces and begin dancing. They were lots of fun to watch. Unfortunately they also obscured our vision of the match. I was there to watch my friend wrestle and since I was kicked out of the VIP area and relegated to the floor a bunch of dancers and rowdy VIPs completely ruined my experience. Throw in the amateurish DJ/MC and I was basically bored for several hours as I waited for my friend. I highly doubt I’d return to this place even though I can see how it might be appealing to someone else.

Fun bar in the Xfinnity complex. The bartender helped raise the star value with a great fun personality and helping to start our night off on the right foot. The patio was great especially with the Bstreet Band rocking along. Watching the bartenders and patrons riding the bull was also amusing.

Drunk people falling off an electric bull. Pick me, pick me! No, not to ride the bull. That’s cray cray. To go with you, drink beers, and watch other fools fall off of, I mean ride, the bull. PBR is part of The XFinity Live Center which is smack in the middle of all the stadiums. Great for before, after, or instead of a game. As I have seen at every place that has electric bulls, guys can expect a harder run and faster exit. They slow the bull down for the women, but not to be nice. Because they are dirty and want to watch you, know guys want to watch, and know the beers will flow heavier if the guys are watching you. If this is not enough, the have hired guns, aka not as bad as strippers just because they don’t take their tiny pieces of clothes off. Yeah, were talking bouncing watermelons spilling out and flesh hanging out the rear. PBR is fun, but it’s fun in a dirty kind of way.

This place was great! Went there after tailgating for the Phillies game last weekend and had a blast. The whole Xfinity Live center was a fun time. Band’s were playing outside and inside. The mechanical bull in the center of the bar holds most people’s attention for the majority of the night. Not for the faint of heart, you will be tossed off quickly. Oddly, it seems girls are much better bull riders… ever guy that tried ride solo was immediately tossed by the ‘bull’. All in all, one of the better times I’ve had hanging out at a bar with friends. Can’t comment on the food, bartenders were quick and helpful. If ever in the south Philly area and its game day, swing into the PBR Bar.

PBR is highly entertaining, and provides a divergent form of fun that I have yet to see elsewhere in Philadelphia — a mechanical bull! I had a blast here watching the games with a big group. The service is attentive for being jam packed on a game night, and watching drunk people get tossed around the bull pit, which is the center spectacle, does not fail to disappoint. I don’t know if it is because the place is still new or what, but the staff seems to really pride themselves on customers enjoying their experience here. We ordered a few appetizers, which were nothing memorable, but who cares. this place is truly a bar at heart, although a full menu is offered. Get a couple beers and some nachos and you’ll be a happy camper. I’ll be back!

This was the place I was able to eat at on the night before the grand opening. Basically, they were the place that had a table available. Hey, it was crowded and some of the choices had an hour wait. This place was busy too, but happened to have a table. So they get to be my first meal at Xfinity Live. Overall atmosphere, OK it’s a lot of fun. It’s loud. There’s country music and hard rock everywhere, and watching people fall off the mechanical bull provides lots of entertainment. It’s a whole load of cheesy, but I was into it. But the food, that’s what I came for. Here goes… Chips and salsa were basic. Not salty at all. I was OK with that. Decent salsa with a bit of a kick. Good start if not totally exciting. The wife got a chicken salad which was served in a tortilla shell. It was good pulled chicken which she said was quite juicy. Not too bad overall. The shell was a bit greasy to bite into which detracted slightly. I went for the half BBQ chicken with rice and beans. The plus is that the chicken was really juicy and fresh. It came with dry rub, and if you wanted BBQ sauce that was on the table. I felt that the taste of the chicken needed the sauce to be really good. If the chickjen needs the sauce, it’s not great BBQ in my mind. But the sauce saved it. It was tasty sauce. I give them that. The rice and beans needed work though. Not enough flavor in those. It’s what I expected. Corporate restaurants like this just don’t always put out great food. But it was good enough, and it was fun. It’s worth another try to see how the fajitas, burritos and tacos are. They get 3 stars until they can prove that they deserve more.
