Pete’s is a gem in University City and it’s so surprising to me that not too many people know about it outside of Drexel students. This food truck is by far one of my favorites and it never gets old. I think their slogan should be, «coming to the rescue of hungover college kids on the daily.» But actually. The bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown on an everything bagel(with saltpeppaketchup, of course) is an absolute game changer. The lady who runs the truck is always so friendly and kind and if you’re a regular, she will remember you and your usual order. Around lunch time, this place gets pretty busy and a line starts forming around 11AM. They work very quickly and efficiently though, and I don’t think I’ve waited for more than 15 minutes. On the real though, I’d probably wait even longer and not even be mad about it because it’s just THAT good. Part of me wants more Penn students and other university students in the area to find out about this place since it’s a pretty life changing experience… but at the same time, it’ll make the lines at lunch even longer. I’m okay with it though, because they certainly deserve the business! So next time you’re feeling a little down and in the mood for some yummy comfort food, venture onto Drexel’s campus and stop by Pete’s. You won’t be disappointed!

Repeat after me: Bacon, egg, cheese, hashbrowns. Long roll. Saltpeppaketchup. This review gives me all of the feels for freshman year, running to class, hungover, thinking I might not make it through the day. These breakfast sandwiches are life savers.

Having been here multiple times, the lady now knows our order. Hash brown, egg and cheese. The roll is delicious, service is great and price is unbeatable.

This was the first food truck I tired a few years ago when I was a freshman at Drexel and I’ve been hooked ever since. Their breakfast sandwiches and hash browns are filling, tasty, and cheap. The service is super quick and the staff is always pleasant. If you become a regular such as myself they will know your order the second you walk up to the truck. Been a few times where I forgot cash on my way to class and they let me slide and pay next time since they knew I’d be back. Keep these guys around and try to tip as well it doesn’t hurt.

For me this place is full of memories from Freshman year. This truck was my jam for anything breakfast food related, and when i was coming home from class and needed something filling on a friday before going out drinking, their cheesesteaks were perfect. Pete’s has a super friendly staff that always greet you with a smile, and are always down for a conversation if they’re not too busy. If you’re a student at Drexel, make sure you try their breakfast sandwiches. Getting a bacon, egg, cheese and hashbrown will save you’re day if you happened to go out the night before, this is based on empirical evidence!

I love their egg ham and cheese sandwich. It’s so light for breakfast, that I always used to order while on school. The Chinese lady it’s always helpful and funny when asking if you want Salt, pepper, ketchup on your sandwich.

I’ve become a regular at this truck over the last few years. It’s the perfect spot for bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll or a quick lunch sandwich. Fast and friendly service keeps me coming back, although I’ve learned to go elsewhere for coffee.
