Just grabbed 2 Philly pretzel dogs from this place, they had just brought out a new tray and I thought I’d be in for a toasty treat, not so. They rotated the old product that’d been there for who knows how long, it was rock hard and stuck together. The cashier handed me 2 pretzel dogs that were essentially glued, and sent me on my train with sadness in my heart and stomach. The crazy thing is, I had my first pretzel dog just 2 days ago at 30th street station, and I LOVED it! The cashier was nice, the pretzel was toasty yet soft, and the hotdog was hot with a snappy flavor. The pretzel dogs also came in a foil wrapper to keep transit out and heat and happiness in. This place failed hard. The cashier seemed depressed and rolled her eyes when I explained I had some change, she grabbed the worst looking burnt pretzel dogs of the bunch and put them in the bag with no foil wrapper and no napkins. Don’t choose this location if you have a choice.

3 stars purely for customer attentiveness. Philly Pretzel Factory pretzels are delicious but at this location, which was tucked away in the west corner of the Gallery, the employee was on the phone, not really paying attention, which would be fine if the food were brilliant. Pretzels were cold and soggy. Very sad. I would recommend the company, but not this location.

I am a huge pretzel fan. I think these are the perfect, classic pretzels. They tasted fresh out the oven. The service was excellent, very helpful. I could not believe how affordable they were; 0.75 for a pretzel! That’s how pretzels should be priced. The cheese was mediocre though. It lessened the quality of the pretzle. Wetzel’s in California is still my favorite, but this is a standard for all pretzels.

I agree with Sara, it is a great location to open something people can grab food real quick before rushing to the train or work. This location also has customer service that trumps most places I’ve been to including fancy or upscale restaurants. They are always super friendly, happy & polite. It amazes me every time. The pretzels here are warm which is surprising since they don’t make their pretzel on location.

It was simply brilliant of Philly Soft Pretzel Factory to open a location right where hungry commuters get onto and off of their regional rail trains. It’s the standard Pretzel Factory menu loaded with warm, salty, carb-y goodness, and I don’t even have to go out of my way to get it. The kids who work the counter have always been friendly and efficient, and my pretzel bounty has been high quality on ~ half a dozen stops. Who’s the hero of at-home happy hour now? This girl!
