Came in 45 minutes before close and said the kitchen had shut down and wouldn’t make my pizza

Every single time I’m come here, even if I order ahead of time I’m waiting at least 20 mins for my food. Really bad service and my find has been the wrong thing 3 different times. It sucks because it used to be a good place to eat.

What a mixed bag. The service was pretty poor, I waited 20 minutes for 4 slices– 1 loaded potato, 1 chicken parm, 1 buffalo and 1 big daddy. The chicken parm was ok and the buffalo was good, but holy cow the big daddy and loaded potato were quite an experience. Very satisfying, tasty, and unique. I’d come back.

«Pdubbz» never again. Came in on a Friday night with my brother and ordered their two slice special and a drink. After a few minutes, we realized we never received a cup for our drink. No biggie, there was only one girl working the front counter so maybe they forgot. We reminded her that we ordered the special and got our cup. After we waited over 20 minutes three groups of people came and got their slices right away. We had to remind the front counter again about our order. She passive aggressively tossed the slices into the oven and shoved them our way. Not only did she forget our entire order — we also had to remind her every step of the way. She didn’t even offer an apology or anything. This place used to be good before they moved next door to Jimmy Johns. Everything has gotten consistently worse since they reopened. The pizza isn’t even the same as it was when they first opened. Working in the restaurant industry myself I let a lot of things slide especially when it comes to service and wait times. Next time I’ll just go to Cali Pizza.

I like the food most of the time and I love that they do vegan pizzas(especially ones that don’t use daiya!) I went in there a few days ago though and it was so hot I couldn’t even stand to be in there. There was a bucket of water under the dripping, broken air conditioner. It was kind of gross. 3 stars because it can be kind of hit or miss, and because it’s kind of shitty to see employees working in a 110 degree kitchen.

one of my favorite places to eat around university city. The vegan wings are excellent, and the pizza and fries are also highly recommended.

Music was terrible, n word used a lot. Service said 15 minutes and was 40. Pizza tasted just ok.

I mean the pizza is fine, the staff is always friendly, the service is a bit slow(they told me 10 – 15 minutes and I ended up waiting, no joke, 45 minutes for one pepperoni pizza.) Plus, while I was waiting, the music selection that Pdubbz was blaring used the n-word an excessive amount. It was horrifying, I can’t believe a business would play music like that. In a BUSINESS.

This is my go to drunk or late night pizza. I recommend the big daddy(breaded chicken, BBQ, Ranch, Bacon) which is my absolute favorite and I find myself craving it. The crust is never too crunchy or soggy and it’s not too thin or thick. It is very greasy though but if it’s too much you just blot it with a napkin like a normal human. I love Pdubbz!

Insanely cheap and tasty vegan wings and steaks. Didn’t like the pizza though.

I’m only giving them 4 stars because I haven’t tried out enough of their menu. But in regards to previous reviews saying the pizza was soggy, they must have listened! The pizza I ordered today was a personal specialty pie. Vegan general tso’s pizza. It was so good! No skimping on the«chicken» either. The crust was crisp and fluffy, not greasy at all but still packed with flavor. The chicken had that delicious general tso’s sauce coated on each piece, as well as a slight kick at the end. I will definitely be ordering from there again. When I called to see if it was possible to veganize an online order, they instructed me to simply write vegan in the comments section. And they called me back to iron out a pricing discrepancy as well! The delivery came within the time they quoted and was hot. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try. They make the seitan themselves and wow, it is good.

Here’s a place that gets it. It’s 2:00 am, you’ve been drinking and you’re hungry. PDubzz understands this college campus mentality and caters to it. A place that has good food, fast delivery and is open until three in the morning is a god send. The convenience of the establishment aside, their food is pretty good too. I’ve had their buffalo chicken pizza a few times as well as more than one of their steaks. Furthermore they offer a completely vegan menu to not only capture a huge variety of customers but also to make sure that everyone has a food option extremely late at night. The delivery guys are always quick and polite. Service seems to mean something here. Good work PDubbz. Welcome to Drexel.

I’m giving Pizza.Wings.Steaks. five stars because they have great prices, they stay open until 3AM seven days of the week(which is a huge thing for me because I never sleep and I’m always hungry), and they have a great selection of vegan options. I’m really excited to see that PWS(or «Pdubbz») has an owner who is excited to bring lots of inventive and great vegan options to his menu. My only minor complaint is that the online ordering menu on their website is not as robust as the menu in their store. I’m sure that will be fixed relatively soon. For those of you wondering, PWS offers vegan wings, vegan cheesesteaks(along with vegan whizz), and of course vegan pizza.

Just go to Cali Pizza instead. I will NOT be going back to PWS. Their hot wings are just excessively breaded chicken wings with your sauce on the side. I would think a place called«Pizza. Wings. Steaks.» would know how to make wings, but apparently not. They messed up the order by giving me wings with bones instead of boneless. Finally, their music was so loud. I mean, I only listen to music that loud at parties, not on a Sunday evening when I’m getting dinner. I would be happy to suffer through the music if the food were worthwhile but it definitely isn’t. It really blows that this is what replaced Village.

A pizza shop that’s got it right. All fresh ingredients, nothings ever frozen, freshly made dough, what’s not to love? The menu is delightfully simple and has everything you need, including vegan options which is more then you can say for most pizza shops. These guys are breaking new ground in the Philly pizza shop realm, which mostly serve all Sysco products that have been sitting frozen for god knows how long and a menu that reads more like short novel filled with things you would never order. Seriously give these guys a chance if you are in the neighborhood. I recommend the vegan wings or big daddy’s bbq!

I really wanted to love PWS. I was excited to have a new restaurant around, and went in completely open-minded. But after going there at least half a dozen times, I can say with confidence that I’m going to Cali Pizza from now on. Some of the food is decent-ish, but it’s consistently worse than Village – which it replaced – and they have about 25% of the menu Village had. The variety is what made Village so great. And more times than not I’ve had bad experiences for other reasons there. They frequently mess up my order, they use these crazy payment systems that take forever to swipe, and they need your name and phone number if you call in. They’re overly-proud of their food, claiming that the extensive wait will be «worth it.» And I’d be cool with that if the food were actually good. But the pizza sucks… oh god. The steaks are just decent(they messed up the best buff chick cheesesteak in town!!) I haven’t had the wings yet, however the fries are homemade and quite good. Ultimately, unlike Village and Cali, PWS just has no charm. Cali it is.

The pizza is greasy. The wings are pieces of fried chicken in hot sauce with too much breading. The onion«rings» are big chunks of onion with too much breading. The service is slow and the staff can’t get even a simple order right. Don’t waste your time and money here. There are plenty of better places to eat around here.

My second time eating from here. The first time it was fries and a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. The steak was great, however the fries were over done. The second time was a small cheese pizza and fries. Once again the fries were sub par, but this time soggy. The pizza is good though. The fries are an awesome idea as there really aren’t any good hand cut fries around here, but they have a little to go on the ‘good’ in the hand cut fries.
