I really wish Popeyes chicken was as good as their commercials make them out to be. Really I do. Who doesn’t like a good piece of fried chicken? I mean, other than a Vegetarian? However, Popeyes chicken just isn’t very good. One plus is that they recently remodeled the store, so it is somewhat nice inside. There are some tables to eat at. I guess if you are desperate for chicken, this place will suffice, but other than that don’t waste your money.

I’ve been in here a handful of times because I live so close and sad to say I’ve never ever had a pleasant experience. The girls that work here are the most miserable and rudest people I’ve ever encountered. They hardly even greet you and if it’s busy? Forget it. Might as well leave bc the attitude is unforgiving. The last time I was there I asked for an extra BBQ sauce with my chicken and she made me wait at the counter for 5 minutes as she waited on other people instead of literally handing me a BBQ sauce. 5 strikes now and I’m done. Their food isn’t that good to ever make me go back, I’ll go to church’s.

It I could give a minus star I would. I’ve been here several times and EACHANDEVERYTIME it’s a fiasco. Why why why is it so difficult to get a couple of chicken order right? I get to work and my bosses 2 breast chicken with beans a one breast with a drumstick. Forget about service with a smile. I love Popeyes but this one is one of the worst.

Whoa buddy… There are a million reasons to hate this place, but darn that BONAFIDE chicken… *sigh* There’s the chick w/the false Tammy Faye eyelashes that I am always terrified might land in my coleslaw… «EEEEEEK! There’s a tarantula in my food!!!» As one of my co-workers always says, «I can’t stand those stanky girls that work over there. Every one of ‘em has a bad attitude.» There’s the fact that you can NOT, like it’s physically impossible to, get in and out of this store in less than 15 minutes… I get a sucky 30 minutes for lunch, so after the 3 minute drive each way, I have 24 minutes to get my ish and clock back in. I come THISCLOSE if not go over every time. They don’t pre-cook much of anything because they are apparently more fearful of it going to waste than of losing customers. My regular lunch date always gets mild chicken fingers and french fries… I usually opt for the chicken sandwich. None of the above are ever ready when we get there. But then you finally get to taste it, and all is well. lol
