A risk free social game of poker. It’s a good group, no one gets out of hand and there isn’t much in the way on donkey play. Prizes usually go to the top 3 players with a points system in place for TOC qualifying purposes. Free online poker is an okay fix, free live poker is better.

I can’t believe I did not write a review for Primetime before! I started going to Primetime in June. If you have not met me yet, I am an avid poker player and I think I have a little addiction problem with free poker tournament! I love primetime for many reasons: * The crowd that comes to poker is nice and I usually always have a good time. * The level of poker we play is good(obviously, you always have donkeys but overall, I like playing at Primetime) * The venues are amongst my favorites venues * You get a dealer! It definitely avoids a lot of dramas at the tables!(Go richy!) * I love the points system! Top 8 makes it in a Tournament of Champions and first place win a big prize.(I am very big on competition so I am definitely gutting to make it in that top 8!) * Cash/gift certificates prizes for the top 3! * Gary is a great tournament director. He knows what he is doing and knows how to handle a crowd. If you are looking for a place to play free poker in the city, Primetime would definitely be a recommendation of mine!

Prime time poker is a great place to hang out and play poker with good people. I was new to poker a few months back and the people at Prime Time including Gary made me felt right at home. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good, fun time in center city Philadelphia. They have games almost every night in different venues around the city and its a great opportunity to PLAYFREEPOKERANDWINPRIZES ranging anywhere from gift cards to restaurants to trips to Las Vegas for two. Stop by if you are looking for something to do any night from Sunday-Thursday. The venues will be announced on their website :)

Primetime is a great idea for anyone who is looking to learn poker, improve their game, or just looking to have a good time. The people are all very friendly and welcoming, and poker players of all skill levels, including people just learning, play. Each tournament awards specific prizes, which vary, though some of the larger ones that I remember include a trip to Vegas, a buy-in to WSOP satellite tournaments, $ 500 cash prize and gift certificates to different bars. Overall, its just a great time and lots of fun.
