Just came home from there, I was impressed how nice it was inside very clean. Service was good and I had a burger that was great. I’m glad I stopped in I’ll definitely be going back.

I went here last saturday 5⁄7 with two of my girlfriends to meet a friend and her boyfriend. I was excited to try it because it was local and new, granted it was a saturday and i understand In this industry this could be the busiest night, but i was super bummed out by the service. I LITERALLY felt like i was watching an episode of bar rescue. I waited 20 mins for a drink, had to order 2 at a time which is pathetic. The bartenders were drowning, i felt their pain. Just a little advice to management it would behoove u to hire on 1 or 2 more bartenders for the weekend. Despite the service i liked the enviornment, dj was awesome and this place has potential. Needless to say Im not a bitch so i will be back to try again and hope for a different outcome ! Thanks =)

I was supper pumped to check this place out… epic fail. I have been here a few times when it was smoke eaters and it wasn’t exactly a good time. I did hear some members of pfd owned it so I figured we would support it. This bar is way nicer and cleaner than and had better service than smoke eaters but nothing more. Pub 36 is definitely not some where I would order food. I had nachos and onion rings that were iced cold and had no flavor. I would understand if it was even remotely busy but, that was not the case. I do give credit to the owners for making it way more cleaner and more presentable to customers. Seem like a good place to just drink beer.

Very nice bar to go for entertainment and/​or food. Bartenders are prompt, food is hot and delicious. Painting night is a blast. Saw a few bands there and the place was packed with a nice older crowd. With all the other competition on Frankford Avenue, Pub 36 has mostly people in various age groups just out to have a good time. Very clean and not the typical «lets get drunk and start a fight crowd» as written in previous review.

great experience there! my daughter is a teacher and on monday and tuesday all day is half price for military and teachers for the the whole bill, including drinks. wait staff are very friendly. the irish nachos are very good and is enough for four people. the roastbeef sandwich, chicken parm dinner are also very good. they have a good happy hour too!

Best bar in the area. Food is verrrry good, very generous portions. My favorite selection being the Smokehouse Burger. Teachers/​nurses/​firefighters/​EMS/​police and military receive half off their entire bill on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is very cool. Always a large crowd on the weekends, with live music several days per week. I highly recommend Pub 36.

Meh. A Grey Lodge/Maggie’s/3 Monkeys wannabe with some of the craft beer selection but none of the atmosphere because they are also trying to keep the typical Frankford Ave «let’s get drunk and start a fight» 18 – 24 crowd. Went on a weekend afternoon and also a weeknight and hardly anyone here. Not really sure when they get crowds, I live a short walk away and never see anyone when I go to Wawa.
I say head to one of the other places i mentioned and thank me later.

This place was just open a couple of weeks before I went here… the young lady at the bar was very good… the food was ok… since this place seems to be working out some of the kinks… I will be back and hope to give then 4 or 5 stars…
