A few weeks ago I got my natural hair colored for the first time ever & blown out for the first time since being fully natural. It was a great experience. The stylists made me feel comfortable the entire time. Sacouya did my color & Juanita blew out my curls. I’d definitely recommend a natural to come here.

Previously Ground Zero, R Salon has made a few changes to the look of the salon (in a good way). Having only come to Ground Zero a few times, I’m glad they kept Missy. She’s always so sweet! I go to Sweat Gym and often see her so I always find myself discussing with her some changes i would like with my hair color and style. Also, she was the only person with whom I made appointments. Granted I only come here for my usual deep conditioning treatment, I cannot vouche for any other hair services. I feel everyone is always friendly and welcoming.
In desperate need of a treatment, I called the salon thinking they were closed. Luckily, they were open! I was so relieved because they’re usually closed on Mondays! So I set up a same day appointment, came in, had my hair washed, conditioned and blown out. Now I have to admit, out of any other salons I have been, this one washes the ridiculousness out of your hair. They give you a nice rub down and the products smell real good. I wish I remembered the name of the girl who gave me a blow out because my hair was gorgeous when I left. From 2pm — 11pm and my hair still looked as beautiful as ever! 4 stars for the blow out. I’ll have to come back to review other services offered.
