I recently had an appointment with Dr. Khoury for an ultrasound guided calcific tendinitis aspiration. There were many positives and one negative to my experience. Apparently the scheduler messed up and put me in for a regular ultrasound when what I needed actually took a good bit more time than an ultrasound. Upon waiting for an hour after my appointment time, when I was called back to get the ultrasound, the tech. realized that I was scheduled for the wrong thing. As frustrating as it was for both of us, he was really nice and friendly and assured me that we could fit everything in. I think his name was Tim(or Ted or Tad? Ahh I can’t remember! It was a «T» name). Anyway, after getting my ultrasound Dr. Khoury came in and reviewed the photos as well as looked for herself at what was going on. I didn’t end up needing the full procedure, but I did end up needing some injections anyway. They use sterile procedures there, so everything was on the up and up and very structured. Dr. Khoury and the tech. were most pleasant and helpful. Beware the scheduling issues, though, and don’t be surprised if you have a long wait for your appointment.
