NYE with live music and we only had to pay for what we ate and drank. Will return to try the beef and beer special.

Reedy’s Tavern is a terrific establishment… with one exception… thanksgiving eve… on this one day an unruly band of ruffians unleash havoc. Stories of nocturnal shenanigans are shared — stories most off color and foul language is rampant. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Reedy’s Tavern for a more wholesome alternative on thanksgiving eve.

Solid neighborhood pub. The roast beef sandwich special is awesome. You get a tasty sandwich and a draft beer for $ 6. Nice crispy wings, the cheesesteak spring rolls are great too.

This place has napkins that are softer than a baby’s bottom. The food is excellent! The special on the chalkboard has a Roast Beef Sandwich for $ 5.99 with a FREE pint. The crafts cost extra, but it’s incentive to keep eating roast beef sandwiches all night. Speaking of craft beer, they currently have the Allagash Tripel, Slyfox Seamus and the Manayunk Raspberry Schuykill Punch so if you’re a fan of any of those, there you go. The house fries are excellent and the service is top notch. Not that crowded and I’m here on a Friday night. Will definitely come here again, but felt that this place deserved a good review even though this was my first visit… But first impressions count for a lot! Ooh… Live band is starting up so I guess I’ll end my review here! :)

This may be a corner bar in the north east, but the food has the quality of rittenhouse all over it without the large price tag. I had Allagash Tripel on draught, Honey BBQ Chipotle Wings, and Blackened Salmon Steak with Fries for less than $ 25 dollars. Service is great. Everyone is enthusiastic, and you just cant beat a place that has nothing but fresh food without breaking the wallet.

Whenever I’m in Philly, my friends and I love to catch up at Reedy’s Tavern. It’s a fantastic neighborhood bar with a surprisingly sophisticated selection of craft beers. I’m always a big fan of Allagash, so I was happy to see they had Tripel. Last night we went and they happened to have traditional Irish music for St. Patty’s Day, which was a really nice touch. Service is awesome and the food is great as well. My friend had a steak sandwich and said it rocked.

To agree with a previous review, this is definitely just an average bar. There’s really no appeal. I usually just stop in when some of my other regular spots are packed. It’s got a big bar, but it’s kinda odd. If you’re sitting at the farthest end of the bar, away from the regular door, you feel like you’re sitting at another bar. Everyone always comes in from the parking lot and settles down at that one same end all the time. Don’t get me wrong, the place really isn’t packed regularly. You’ve got a good chance to find a seat. I’ve never had the food here, so I can’t give any advice on what to get or avoid.

Reedy’s is basically your average Northeast neighborhood watering hole. It’s mainly dudes of various ages, skewed toward the middle-aged and shifty-looking. The bar is okay — okay beer, okay mixed drinks, nothing to write home about. They have live music from time to time, especially for St. Patrick’s Day. This isn’t really my kind of place, but if you’re just looking for a place where you can park yourself at a stool and be a regular, no muss, no fuss, then this is your bar.
