My favorite boutique in Philly! The clothes here are fab. The style is modern and minimalist, unlike a lot of the other boutiques in Olde City, which border on a grown-up Urban Outfitters. I also just really like the use of space; it’s more like a gallery than a clothing store, with every piece a work of art. My only gripe, and it is big, is with the prices. Don’t expect anything under a benjamin.

I noticed that many more reviews of this store can be found under the heading«Reward» in Philadlephia. «The Reward Project» is a name that seems to be used primarily by those connected with the store, whereas most people just use the actual store name, which is simply«Reward.»

A fantastic boutique. Being in a small clothing shop is tricky; you’re often in there alone with the salesperson, and they don’t always do a good job of letting you roam. The salesman in the Reward was welcoming, polite and helpful, but still unobtrusive, which I appreciated. Oh, right – the clothes: basically they are fabulous. There is a broad selection of pretty edgy-but-wearable clothes, which range from quite daring to understated-with-a-twist. The clothes are fun, but sophisticated, definitely aimed at folks who have outgrown Urban Outfitters. In Philadelphia, it’s very easy to fall into the Center City rut, over-relying on J. Crew for basics and Anthropologie for«flair” – or whatever. Reward offers some very welcome fashion-forwardness, which is not to be confused with trendiness(think editorial fashion, not – again – Urban Outfitters). They also have an excellent menswear selection.

A marvelous little boutique in the heart of Old City! Great selection of vintage and hard to find mens & women’s labels. If you want to dress like all of your friends, pay dirt cheap prices, and get one wear out of your clothes then stick with the H&Ms and Forever 21s of the world! But if you want original, unique, hip clothing that has a lot of wear, then this shop wont disappoint! Most items are obscure, European, hard to find labels, but Reward also carries LA brands like Seneca Rising which is an amazing line! DId I mention the jewelry selection is divine??? The ambience and décor are just as cool as the clothing. It is not unlikely to hear Grizzly Bear, xx, or Empire of the Sun in the shop. Music is part of the store culture as much as the clothing. In fact, the shop features in store events like art shows and live bands. Get on the mailing list to find out about this in store events. You wouldn’t want to miss out now would you? If you are lucky enough, the owner may be in the store and who will go out of her way to help you or explain details of a brand or an item, give you advice, or find your size! Dont be shy. She’s top notch and super friendly! I live in NY and trek to Philadelphia just to shop here! It’s definitely worth the time and money!!!

Reward is the only store in the city where i have found clothes that i really really like. Compared to other boutiques in old city Reward reflects a definite NYC style. Like a previous reviewer said, this is about as cutting edge as you’ll get in Philadelphia for fashion. The first time i went in there i was excited about the selection of designers… especially the opening ceremony dresses. The vintage selection was only so-so, but if you’re looking for vintage this probably wouldn’t be your first choice of shops anyway. Go to this store and buy something that will make people think you’re rich!

boutique clothing store with typical old-city charm and forward style. off the beaten path but worth the 1 block walk from 3rd street.

Please go here and spend all of your money. Awesome selection of men’s and women’s. The owner is a fantastic buyer and super nice. Affordable and fun. Totally worth the $ 20 train ticket from New York to just to shop here.

The store is simple and clean but the labels are foreign and top-notch. Definitely a great place to treat yourself to denim, shoes, and the occasional blouse or t-shirt. Seems like a big emphasis on French labels, but Japanese designers like Tsumori Chisato and other indie European labels make an appearance too.

Treat yourself to cutting-edge(for Philly) apparel at Reward in Old City. Opening Ceremony, Wood Wood, Vanessa Bruno and Ksubi pieces line the racks of this minimal, slick boutique. Vintage shoes pace underneath and offer a less-expensive option if you can’t leave without buying something. Gorgeous and thoughtful selection for the folks who normally travel to NYC for their fash. Check it out.
