I have been going to Dr. Dittrich for three years for my annual visits and I think he does a great job. I have also seen Dr. Joanne who is in there on Wednesdays I think. I never feel rushed and they make the experience as easy as possible. The front desk ladies are also very nice and scheduling is easy, even for more urgent matters. They always fill my birth control prescription without any issues. I would definitely recommend!

My first review. I felt it important to leave my first review of an Ob/Gyn because as a woman, finding a good Ob/Gyn is like winning the lottery. Let me tell you that I did not have a good experience with Dr. Dittrich. I came in for my initial consultation in order for a full course of STD/AIDS testing, PAP, and to get a prescription for birth control. I have used the same prescription for years(the original birth control from the 1960’s), because it works. I asked the doctor to be put on this prescription and was told that it had been«discontinued.» I was given samples of a prescription that was supposed to be similar in formulation, which caused me to be unnecessarily and unreasonably emotional. I called in to be switched to something else and I was told that I needed to come in order to get something different. I was seen for a 2nd time in 2 months, and was given some more samples of another brand, which worked out fine. I called my doctor again when I was 2 weeks from running out of pills to get the prescription called into my pharmacy. When I went to pick it up, I was told my insurance required a «prior authorization» and that my doctor would have to fill out this form. I realized that this was an expensive birth control pill, and asked if there was instead a generic. There was not. I called my doctor the same day, asking for a list of other options, as I did not want to spend $ 50/month for the copay and was given attitude by the receptionist because I wanted something cheaper. The receptionist/Dr. would not give me other options over the phone and instead sent me back to my pharmacy to inquire what formulations were available for little or no cost. In my frustration in having to speak with the pharmacist 3 times in one day, I told him I was looking for a pill that was similar to the original Ortho-Cyclen. I was then informed by the kind pharmacist that there was a generic on the market and that it would be at no cost to me with my insurance. WHAT?! I called my doctor for the third time in the same day and informed his receptionist that there WAS a generic on the market for my preferred pill, and that the doctor needed to write a prescription for the generic and have it sent to my pharmacy. I picked up the pills/prescription today and my doctor has only written the prescription for 1 additional refill, thus requiring me to go in for another unnecessary office visit. I am now being held hostage by Dr. Dittrich in order for him to be able to bill me and my insurance for another visit(would be the 3rd visit in 4 months), just so I can get a prescription to protect my reproductive health. This is a complete waste of my time, money, and not to mention a violation of my patient rights to have a doctor NOT listen to me in the first place. I will not be going back to this provider, will search out a new doctor and have my records copied/transferred to my new Ob/Gyn. I recommend that you never visit this doctor.
